I'm a Yankee fan, but I have a feeling the the Marlins will win in 6.

Marlins quiet frankly got lucky against the Giants and the Cubs.

Hope the Yankees win. I hate the Marlins more that the Yanks so I say Yanks in 5. They won't let the Marlins come back or let their starting pitcher trow in the 8th in a crucial game.

Hope we see Clemens in the final game leaving as a champ.

I hope the Yanks get swept. I'm a big fan of whoever is playing against them.

Yanks in 5. The only question is can Posada throw out the likes of Pierre and the rest of the very fast Marlins. That's one area the Marlins have the Yankees outmatched. Power, pitching, and postseason experience clearly go to the Yankees.

The Yankees starting rotation of Pettitte, Clemens, Wells, and Mussina have combined for more wins in their careers (858) than the Florida Marlins have won in their entire franchise history (797).

I think the marlins match up great with the yankees,

either way, they are in no way lucky to be in the world series, they are they best team in the National league.

BTW, they only have the best record in the MLB since may 20, (even better than the yankees) just a stat i think i should point out.

i forgot to mention, overcoming a 3-1 deficit, facing mark prior and kerry wood, is not lucky, there is no excuse the cubs can make, not even the Bartman can be an excuse, Bottom line, the marlins came to chicago ready to play, and beat two of the top pitchers in baseball

I think the pitching staffs will match up good, and I'd rather have the Marlins lineup right now then the Yankees.

That being said, they match up fairly well, defense, offense, I think pitching, experience and management goes to the Yanks.

Yankees. That was an easy question.

I dislike both teams. However as the lesser of two evils i'm rooting for the Marlins. I've watched that team all year and have hated their ability to come through in the clutch and beat the teams they were supposed to lose against (Phillies wildcard, Giants, Cubs playoffs).

Team speed and defense advantage Marlins.
All other categories advantage Yankees.

However the Marlins don't give a shit about any stinkin curses so I see them beating the hated Yankees.

You will have to forgive me as I am still mourning the Sox, but in my drunken haze tonight I say the Marlins will beat the Yankees in a four game sweep by the scores of 11-0, 13-2, 9-3, 25-4. I hate you Yankees with all of my little black heart. And I will save you a seat in hell, Aaron Boone.

I think a Funner Fact is that this is the 2nd World Series for the Marlins in 7 years, while the Cubs/Red Sox have been waiting for...however long. :D.

And still, even though the Florida Marlins are your National League pennant winners, only the Devil Rays and Expos drew fewer fans at home and had lower per game averages. While Fenway Park was, on average, at 100.2% full every night, Pro Player Stadium was at 44.8%.

Last year was even worse. Florida failed to draw a million fans for the first time in their history, and only Montreal drew fewer (but not by much-barely 1000 fans).

A combined 180 years, or 22 years longer than Florida has been a state.

Its now 1-1 so i guess The Yankees in 4 would be a stupid ass guess. I think the Yanks will win though... hopefully in 7 so the home field advantage thing they tried to hype up for the all-star game will look like it really had something to do with it.

GODDAMNIT!!!! i fucking HATE the yankees......the tew teams i wanted to go to the series that would've made the series a good one lost....i have no reason to watch the series

I voted for the Marlins because I hate the fucking Yankees.

Well series is tied 2-2 so far i dont know how this is gonna end up but all i know is that Florida always screws up when they put in a new pitcher in about the 8th or 9th they blow the game or cause them to get a come back like last night but the marlins still came out with a win!!!!!!!!!!!

hell yes. i seriously hope beckett pitches in game 6, mark redman is just terrible =/ . stupid yankees need to lose... as for the payroll, it must suck having spent 180 mill on players and facing a team in the WS that spent 40-50 mill. that's fucking beautiful. Jack McKeon is a fucking genius for getting the full potential of the team.

Yup 3-2 going to NY they just need one and I hope it's this next one so I don't have to sweat or hear about the Yankees until next year!!
