Yes, I'd love to try it. I play the Yahoo free fantasy leagues, but I don't follow the NFL at all, and I really suck at their version. I'd much prefer playing a college fantasy game.

Here are some things to consider about our Big10/Big12 league:
1) It is a dynasty league, meaning that after this year's scratch draft, you will keep ALL your players to the next year (barring their graduation, early NFL exit, or suspensions). 2) We need DEDICATED owners who enjoy Head-to-Head play and appreciate the long-term fantasy game. Again, no re-draft each year except to stock up on freshman prospects. 3) The cost is a minimum of $25 for our hosting costs and stat collection fees. There is no prize money involved. 4) We are looking for people who are willing to put in the time to compete in the league. It's a little harder to research the college players and you have to pay closer attention. On the flip side, you will get addicted quickly and find yourself actually watching the OK State vs. Baylor game with interest. Your wives, girlfriends, and kids will hate us, promise! You can contact me directly at Randy.Burgess@[delete]preprosports.com and I will send you more info and a link to check out our website. |

About the SEC/ACC league:
1) This league has been running for two years. We need one expansion owner for 2004. There is no cost to be the last (#12) owner for 2003, but we will just include you in emails and transactions so you can get a feel for the league. 2) As an expansion team, your team WILL be at a disadvantage even after the expansion draft and having the first pick in the next year's draft. Please take that into consideration. The established owners will not completely sacrifice their teams to stock the new guys. You'll have to earn your standings. Again, contact me with your interest and we can go from there. |

More Official Details:
Hello, I am starting a new Big 10 and Big 12 (Pre Pro West) college fantasy football league and we need 4 more owners to get started. As you could have guessed, only players from those 2 conferences will be eligible to be drafted, and it will be dynasty style where you keep players on your roster until they graduate, get drafted, or get kicked off the team for gambling, shoplifting, or drug use. Some other key points: - 12 owners in the league - 8 starters (QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, TE, PK, DF) - 8 bench slots - 2 redshirts slots for those stud freshman/transfers you don’t plan on using until next year - 11 week schedule (with 2-week playoffs) - Inaugural Recruiting Day (draft) will begin in early August so you’ll have a month to study up on the players available. It will be an email draft, serpentine for the first year, and based on order of finish the following years. - Yearly awards for MVP, Freshman of the Year, Bust of the Year, All-League Team, etc. - Profile pages for each owner - Normal scoring system (4 pts pass TD, 6 rush/catch TD, 1 pt/20 yards passing, 1 pt/10 yards rushing, etc.) There will be a $20 fee per person, but it goes directly to our stat service so don’t expect to win any money. The champion does get a custom mug and bragging rights throughout the year. The league website will be here (a work-in-progress right now): http://www.preprosports.com/collegef...lwest/default/ And we have run a similar league for the ACC/SEC for the past 2 years that is almost identical, so you can look there to get a feel for the league: http://www.preprosports.com/CollegeF...t/default.aspx We are looking for extremely dedicated, serious, and active owners only (who like to talk some smack), so reply to this post or email me (jerlasich@yahoo.com) and let me know if you are interested or have any questions. Thanks! Jeremy |
