Questions pertaining to V-Day
I'm trying to come with good Valentine's Day stuff for my girlfriend, and I've come with a couple of things that are good so far. There are two things in particular, though, that I'm looking for some advice on.
First, I'm going to do something with having a friend of hers take her somewhere (anywhere) for a long enough amount of time that I can set up in her room and be waiting for her when she gets back. I thought about doing rose petals, but instead I am dressing as a cowboy-esque person (she thinks Tim McGraw's look is sexy, and that it would be particularly sexy on me) and will be reclined on her bed with my newly bought black cowboy hat pulled down a little. I know she'll get a kick of this part, but I was wondering about whether having a ribbon that starts at the door and leads back to her bedroom would be too cheesy? Secondly, a gift that I would like to get her is a pair of fuzzy handcuffs. This is one of her fantasy things that she wants to try sometime, but there are no decent shops to find them at. Is there a place online that I could get them? She mentioned Spencer's or something, but I don't know that we have one near where I live anymore. So those are my two quandries...I am willing to accept any advice on how to better these. Many thanks for any help. |

Sure, why not risk being cheesy, at least she'll appreciate your making the effort. A lot of guys are too busy being "cool" to be much fun. Tie the other end of the ribbon to your penis, I say.
As for fuzzy handcuffs, I just did a quick google search and found a bunch of places online selling them, try that. |

I like the whole cowboy theme idea. So forget the handcuffs. But use a silk rope instead. It's more in line with being a cowboy. And I say yes to the ribbon idea.

Well, she mentioned the handcuffs as a fantasy idea. They are not necessarily for use with the cowboy thing. Especially not since her suitemate(s) may be around. I don't mind them seeing me dressed as a cowboy, but they will not be needing knowledge of what goes down in the bedroom.

Good ideas here. The mood needs to have sights, sounds, and scents. Vanilla is a popular scent, the cowboy is the sight, now you need good sounds. You can't play Tim McGraw music (THAT would be cheesy), so I would probably do very neutral sounds. A CD that does a spring rain storm should do the trick.

lol... if you tie the ribon to your penis make sure you have a way to keep her from pulling really hard on it... or at least keep a good grip on it with your hand so if she pulls on it shes pulling your hand not your penis...

i don't think adding in the ribbon is too cheesy. no cheesier than using petals to the same effect. and tie the ribbon, just make it so if she starts yanking on it for whatever reason, the ribbon comes undone. though why anyone would start yanking on a ribbon meant to lead them into a room is beyond me... i'd prolly not bother picking it up or drop it once i realized it was meant to lead me somewhere.
and if she likes tim mcgraw's music--by all means play it in the background. the whole thing is a fantasy of hers right? if you are gonna indulge her, go all the way! if she only likes the look and not the music though, i'd go with whatever music turns her on. as for the fuzzy handcuffs--if you can't find them, get a couple of silk scarves. i have the fuzzy handcuffs and while they did amuse me and spark some interest--not as much fun (or versatile) as the scarves. or you could take the cowboy thing one step further and get some rope.... |

the cowboy thing s is a really good idea, but maybe not for Valintines day. and if you do do it, tie the other end of the ribbon to the button on your pants, that way it is sexy and kinky, and not attached to something that would hurt incredibly if that ribbon was pulled on too much

I had not thought about playing his music in the background. Figures I'd forget the small thing. And for those wondering about the sexual part of it, that most likely will wait until later on, but I can always dress back, or, if she so desires, I can stay dressed up until that point. Since I'm planning on doing this over the weekend right before Valentine's Day, I don't need to worry about dinner reservations or anything like that. This is just me surprising her with a little something before the "official" day of romance. Should make it that much better.

Well, only one snag so far on the plans as I have gone through them. The hat I ordered online has not arrived. I ordered it on the 28th and I don't know if it has even shipped yet. Also waiting on a shirt (one of her presents) that I hope will ship tomorrow. The cuffs, however, have arrived at my school's post office and I will be able to get them tomorrow. I also borrowed an idea posted in General about romantic Valentine's things to do will have 11 real roses with one fake silk rose waiting in her room with me, with the note that says "I'll love you until the last one dies."
This should be even more fun than last year. |
