How often on average do you as a woman fake it? and why?

I never fake it. That's no lie. By faking it, you short change yourself AND the dude. If you fake it, and the guy thinks what he's doing has pleased you, then he'll keep doing it that way, and then you decrease your chances of ever getting off.

There's a poll/thread about this in the ladies lounge I remember seeing. Hey, even I get curious to see what in the hell those darn ladies talk about in their own forum. Unfortunately sometimes I would've been much happier not seeing or thinking about certain threads, but it does sometimes have some interesting stuff. Such as, the answer to this question!

"Have you ever faked an orgasm?"

Obviously males like me can't post there, but you can read the ladies' response to pretty much the identical question.

I used to fake it in the past but I learned I wasn't achieving anything other than disappointing myself. I haven't faked one in years and years, and I never will. If it doesn't happen, it doesn't happen.

I don't need to fake it...quite nice, really.

I am, however, more vocal that I would like to be. I'm not a screamer by nature, or much of a moaner either. But I vocalize more for my lover's sake. He gets whiney if I don't.

i fake it on demand. it's a great party trick, plenty of laughter is sure to follow.

most girls i know who have faked it did it because

1) they just weren't in the mood for sex and he wouldn't stop till they came

2) they felt bad for the guy and wanted to soothe his ego (which is such bs imo--not like he'd fake one for me!)

3) they don't know how to orgasm and are embarrassed about it. to hide their own inexperience, they fake it.

but right along with the other women, i gotta say that faked orgasms shouldn't be a part of sex. i either teach him how to get me there or just tell him that i'm not in the mood and it just isn't going to happen for me. i'm almost always willing to have sex. even if i'm not "in the mood" i can get there or at least accomodate my partner's needs. sex feels good even without the orgasm if you know what you are doing. i know plenty of girls who don't need one every time. as long as i get them when i want them, i'm a happy camper.
