"Long as a whore's dream!" Need Help.
I heard these words today and they really got me to thinking. They were used be a country fellow describing something he felt was very long. I thought it seemed funny enough, but then I thought...do whores have long dreams? Why the hell would they have longer dreams than anyone else? It wasn't funny to me anymore. I told my wife, and she thought it was funny...she said whores have the longest dreams because they dream of not being a whore all day. So I guess I got it now. Hmmm. It still ain't funny to me.
Are there better "long as a............? So in case I am faced with 'whores dream' again, I can have similar description that is actually funny. Thanks. |

Well, I've never heard that before. My first that is that dream is meant to be equivalent to aspirations. Cliché Ex. - "I'm only hooking till I can start my own salon." For someone to go that distance is a long way, in terms of lifestyle. It sounds like a rather dark sentiment being expressed. I suppose not though, if you don't have any sympathy for prostitutes.
As for alternatives, the only one I hear regularly is "long as a country mile." Which is more of a pun on the way folks who are used to wide open country reckon distance.

How is this ambiguous?
The whore dreams of a giant cock. You all need to hang around docks or construction crews more.

He then asks if she'll sleep with him for fifty dollars. "What do you think I am?" she exclaims. He replies, "We've established that... now we're just haggling over the price!" Just teasing, SM!

I don't know how long a whore's dream is, but in the middle of summer, Ontario can be as hot as a whore's drawers.
