Today's Topic? How Full is the Glass?
A Republican will tell you that there is not enough in the glass, for everyone to have a sip, just enough for Rich people who need to take a chug.
A Democrat will tell you that, while they really wish they could let everyone have a sip, unfortunately, the Republicans forbid it, and wh...ile they are outraged they themselves take a sip. A Libertarian will tell you that the glass should be filled endlessly without anyone contributing milk, unless its by voluntary economic influence. "If enough people want it full, we won't force anyone too put milk in it", and of course by the time you get any milk in that glass it will be sour. Good knews though, if you don't like that Libertarian response the next Libertarian who comes along will tell you that Ayn Rand said nothing about milk and glasses, making it irrelevant to talk about milk. The next Libertarian, will tell you that the milk should be replaced with liquid hemp and extoll the virtues of hemp for an hour. The next libertarian will tell you that milk is not a good form of currency, and couldn't we all just drink molten gold, because GOLD, GOLD, GOLD....instead of milk, we should be using Gold!! And so on and so on, with no one Libertarian agreeing fully with the other on the topic of milk. And in the end, no matter whose got the glass, you won't get enough to drink from it to satisfy you. |

This doesn't seem like a very good use of the Anonymous feature, mainly because there's no attempt to generate any conversation. Wouldn't this have been better off in a blog?

I think that a Republican will take 95% of the milk left in the glass and put it into the 55 gallon drum full of milk they've set aside for their friends the dairy farmers. The Democrat will do the same thing, though they'll tell you that they feel real bad about it and promise you that they'll get that milk back after the next election.
The libertarian's ideology, lacking the grounding in reality that comes as a side effect of having been practiced at some point in the real world, will lead him/her to mutter incoherently about about some sort of vague, idealized state-less nation where the important thing isn't the milk itself, but how the market allocated it perfectly. |
