RoadMap for Terrorists?!?
I'm not sure if this goes in Politics or somewhere else, but I just couldn't keep silent about this one
READ THIS: http://www.msnbc.com/news/935948.asp Ok, now here's my problem. Don't msn.com and the washington Post realize the THEY ARE ON THE INTERNET, and millions of people, INCLUDING TERRORISTS have access to the news they post?!? Now, I'm all for being informed, but WHY IN THE HELL would you take a PhD student who has created a roadmap of great spots to hit that would bring our country to it's knees, and then post his picture, NAME, AND LOCATION for all the world to see!?!?! Talk about the most irresponsible news I've EVER seen. I wouldn't want to be this student right now. I'd be afraid for my life. Some terrorist group is already plotting to how they'll get that info from him. Scary stuff. |

Good post though! I think, after reading the article, I'm going to change careers. It seems as though some of the interest this Gorman generated with the business world is worth noting. Security has become BIG business since 9/11.

i really doubt he's gonna publish his work. if he is going to use the info for his own personal benifit only, i'm all cool w/ it.

GMU said they were going to let him publish only general details of his work. Which is a pretty good balancing act, IMO.
