The man/woman of your dreams...?

Such a popular phrase it is; I met the girl of my dreams... I met the man of my dreams... I'm sure you've probably said it before, as have I, but have you ever even really dreamed of that girl or that man before? Not just a daydream, but really dreamed of it one night and awoke to that holy shit feeling?

It happened to me yesterday (I work 3rd shift) and I truly wish to fall back asleep dreaming of her right now. Such a strange day it was yesterday, I awoke multiple times throughout and only hoped to fall back into that dream. Fortunately I did and she was there every time. So strange.

Happened to me various times... BUT once it was so vivid and so joyously beautiful that I tried with all my unconscious mind to remain in tha dream for as long as possible so as to not fade away from Perfection.

Needless to say, I did not achieve my ambitions & dreamgirl in process.

Wondrous question.
I dreamed of it
then I got it.

When I was younger I dreamed of a particular girl, one that I have still yet to meet, several times ,atleast 3 that I can remember but I wanna say there was actully atleast 20 of these dreams.. spread from about age 6 to 14 or so.. Sigh. She got older (always about my age..) but it was always the same girl. And yes I felt a feeling that was the best feeling I have ever felt and have never been able to duplicate.. Sigh. Now I am depressed. I havn't dreamed of her in atleast 6 years and have all but given up on finding her. Oh well

I had a dream like that once but the womans features were somewhat blurry and she was slowly dancing on a pedestal wrapped in a thin silk sheet. I was young and pubescent back then. A couple of years later I met a woman that looked like the woman in the dream in every way but I didnt feel any particular attraction to her. Its 12 years later and I was just married to my soulmate in February who looks NOTHING like the woman from the dream but is the most beautiful woman I have ever seen.

Exact same thing happened to me. It was an incredible feeling of pure joy that I tried my hardest not to wake up from. I woke up pretty damn sad that I couldn't retain that image of her. Then again, it was past noon.

I use to dream about a guy when I was younger (pre-teen/teen) and he wasn't anybody I knew. At the time I found it odd and then began to wonder. I never met him and I don't dream about him anymore.

My preferences kept changing with age. What I imagined in my perfect partner isn't really the same I would look for today. Earlier, I'd want some adventurous person, now, I'd be satisfied with a stable, funny and loving one.

A BRITISH man has met and married a 22-year-old woman after, by his own account, dreaming of her phone number and then sending her a text message.
David Brown, 24, said he woke up one morning after a night out with friends with a telephone number constantly running through his head. He decided to contact it, sending a message saying "Did I meet you last night?."

Random recipient Michelle Kitson was confused and wary at first but decided to reply and the two began exchanging messages. Eventually they met and fell in love.

"It was really weird but I was absolutely hooked," Kitson told the Daily Mail newspaper. "My mum and dad kept saying 'But he could be an axe murderer', but I knew there was something special about it."

After a long courtship, the oddly matched couple - he's 195cm tall and she's 155cm - have just returned from their honeymoon in the Indian resort of Goa.

A love-struck Brown said: "I've no idea how I ended up with her number in my head - it's only a few digits different from mine."
Interesting!

I was intimate with my dream girl a couple of nights ago, and to put it simply, it was HOT!

Still trying to recover that dream, because it was that HOT!

I had a dream like that when i was about 15 years old. The thing that makes me remember tht dream was because she gave me her phone number, and in my dream I could clearly see the numbers, but when i woke up they were simply blurs.

Wow, thanks for the link, and the insight, vanblah.

Very topical and interesting storyline to it.

Well, throughout my teen years and into my mid twenties, I've met the girl of my dreams several times, but I wasn't the guy of their dreams in any of the cases, and each time they married and moved away was more traumatizing than the last. Honestly, I don't know if I'll live through this present crush I have, but I want a painless, peaceful death, and I will pay heed to the method of a certain musician who passed recently. I will admit, I'm a chicken****, but I'm pretty distraught, and I look to prove it one way or another.
