Do you think these are ghosts in a classroom?

Yeah thats a double exposure. I would venture to say that 100% of "ghost" pictures are just fucked up pictures that end up looking like they have faces/people in them, or are just plain faked.

How about this picture that I took tonight at a remote graveyard. Look next to the tree at the bottom... (click to enlarge)

Do you have that with a bigger black Background or something? My damn astigmatism<sp> is pulling the white up and I can't see the bottom very well.

Hmm I looked and the picture was taken at exactly 11:40 PM on Tuesday, November 4th. The graveyard is hidden in a forest between to parks in the city of Greenwood, IN. It was nearly impossible to get to, we eventually had to walk across a river to get to it. All the tombstones looked to be of two or so families in the early to mid 1800's. There were 4 or 5 tombstones of deaths of young children. Almost every tombstone was either knocked over or broken; either by time or vandalism. We didn't see any trash or anything so I think maybe it was just time. I don't know of any stories about this graveyard, but I will definatly look some up.

Sounds to me like the children died of disease or maybe harsh conditions of the time.If you look around the area you might find an old abandoned house or remains of a house that once was there. If it's a family graveyard. If you want to investigate any further I suggest looking for any websites that can give you info on family histories of that area with the last name of Alexander.

Went back to the graveyard tonight. Just got back about five minutes ago. Look at this...
<a href="http://portfolio.iu.edu/admrober/Images/RealGhostb.jpg" target="_new"><img src="http://portfolio.iu.edu/admrober/Images/RealGhosts.jpg"></img></a> And no, we weren't smoking.

We thought maybe it was my breath behind the camera, but I usually hold my breath while I take a picture to keep it steady. Also we tried to recreate a breath shot later that night and it came out way too thin. Another thought was that the lense of the camera on the inside was fogged, but the flash wouldn't have illuminated that.

It looks like the "smoke" is right in front of the camera, and not much distance away. My guess is that it is coming from yourself in some way - either breath (which as you say, you guard against) or "steam" coming off of your body if it was cold outside. I've had that effect when taking pictures on a cold night if my hands have been in my pockets or such. When I take the picture, just a little bit of steam comes off my warmer hands. It's not enough to really notice unless you're looking for it, but it really amplifies when a flash catches it in a picture.
Great pictures, by the way!

One site you might wanna visit is Ghoststudy.
Doku, your pics are the exact thing they're looking for. If you submit them, they'll give their expert (=D) opinion, and you'll probably get them posted. Good pics, especially the mist. Check out the gallery, it'll spook you.
