Flu Shots
Ok I did a search for Flu shots and no matches came up so ill start this topic now.
Is anyone afraid of getting flu shots for Paranoia reasons. Like I ve heard people say they would never get flu shots because that is how the government puts things into our body like Nanu (is that the right name) technology. Or like tracking devices. Or I have heard people say they use the shots to get Dna samples from anyone. I'm sure there has to be more conspiracy theories on this subject. Do you have any?

I couldn't tell ya. I'm rarely EVER sick. In fact I'm only sick once a year. Whatever it is that I catch it comes off as a mild cough. Thus I cannot tell you when the last time was that I received a flu shot. Although I'd be kind of interested if anyone on here did think things were put into us. I"m curious if nanites could actually stay IN us. Our bodies have a tendency to reject things, and nanites aren't exactly human. Our bodies can reject body part/organs as even blood if we're not careful. Could they put enough nanites in us to be effective without out body destroying them?

I'm not worried about the gov't stuff. I don't get the flu shot cause I don't see the point in voluntarily subjecting myself to the flu. Its too easy to get sick from the shot.

First off, its near impossible to get the flu from the flu shot. The viri are near dead, and the human body easily can overcome the bugs. That's the whole idea: to get your body to respond and build up immunity before a full strength version comes along. How doe they know whats coming every year? Good question. Actually, its rather involved, but requires a study of the dominant influenza from countries like China and even Australia. The southern heishphere is a major place of study because their seasons are oppsite ours. As they leave "winter" we are heading in to it....so the flu bugs happen here afterwards.
As for the govt: most implantations are too large for a size 00 needle (i think its 00). Anything worth using for tracking would need an incision and a stitch or two. As for DNA, no, I've watched them throw those needles in the biohazard box with hundred of others. Seriously: protect yourself and others and just get the flu shot. Only one bout of the flu would convince you that you should. |

Four years of Flu shots and I haven't been sick. I started getting them after I got the Flu with a 105° fever and started hallucinating.
If they're doing DNA sampling, it's with blood donations. They have to do tests anyway, and it's not hard to throw in a DNA profile and match it to a soc. sec. # if they have some Gov't funding. |

I just got mine this afternoon.
The seventeen bucks will be worth it if there isn't a repeat of the week I spent knocked on my ass last winter. So no, I'm not worried.

I think the flu shot is warrented if you are older, or if you have chronic health problems. I personally don't get the flu shot due to it's slight statistical link to Guillain-Barre' syndrome. I figure I'm young and healthy, I can take my chances with the flu. I mean, our pediatricians don't recommend them for our kids do they?

We're getting ours tonight.
I hate being down with the flu. If I'm going to be away from work for a week, I want sand and surf to be the reason. I didn't used to get flu shots, but most of the people I work with now have school-aged kids, so exposure to the flu is a given. Oh wait - this is Tilted Paranoia !! You younguns have it too easy - why, in my day, the gubmint sutured cathode-ray tubes inside us. Your nano-technology identifiers are a piece of cake. Quitcher belly-achin.' Did I mention it was uphill both ways?

the only time I have a needle in my arm is when I'm giving blood, so it isnt that much of a problem for me. The few times I do have to get a shot, I just look away.
There is a really quesy feeling though every time a needle breaks the skin... *shudders* not enjoyable, but I do it anyways. |

Some people just don't get the flu altogether. I'm glad I'm one of those people. I wouldn't trust any kind of "recommended" shot like that for something so harmless. I have a feeling the vaccines and boosters themselves are not alone.
Ever wonder why all the villages that were vaccinated for smallpox developed the AIDS virus years later? Some things just aren't questioned enough in this country sometimes. Whatever happened to sticking it to the man? |
