In a drowsy moment as I was waking a few days ago, I had an idea. It was the kind of magnificently paranoid idea that only a half-conscious brain can create. As I laid there, half-dreaming and half-awake:

I thought that my social security number was my human IP address, assigned to me when I was young as my own unique identification number. Since then, the government/aliens/Illuminati has been using it to control my thoughts, and they're trying to make my kidneys fail or something (that's where it got foggy).

Like I said, it was a half-dreamed thought, so some of it was foggy. When I was fully awake, I reflected on what my brain had just vomited up and laughed at myself, partially because it made some sense but mostly because it was so ridiculous.

Anyone got any strange conspiracy theories?

I watched a show that examined the theory that we never landed on the moon and the whole moon landing was performed in the pentagon's basement.

It was very interesting, but very hard to believe, just because I have assumed we did land on the moon from my days as a youngin. And IMO, we still did.

I generally don't remember my dreams, so I therefore don't have many conspiracy theories of my own..

I like the Illuminati, Area 51 conspiracies. And all the unexplained phenomena in our world, including all the tin-foil hat stuff. I.e. Nazca lines, Easter Island, the Coral Castle, etc. Fun stuff.
