strange things keep happening

Well, since I moved from the freaky house things have been quiet. I must admit it was a nice break from the craziness that seemed to have been going on. Recently, since my aunt's death, more strange things have been happening at my new place. Helpful strange things. I am hesitant to post them with the fear that those that know me will think I've finally lost my mind for good. I'm not crazy, there are things that have actually happened that I can't explain.

For example, I couldn't find my toolbelt, it's always hanging on a nail in the workshop at my house, ALWAYS. It was gone. My wife didn't touch it and it is too high for the kids to get to. I went to the other room and said, just put it back. Ten minutes later there it was...I swear I'm not making this stuff up!!

I was also putting together a new garage door opener in my workshop and was about ready to go up to the garage with the pieces I had connected when I realized that the hole on one piece weren't lined up. I tried for ten minutes to get the rails separated but they weren't budging. I began working on gathering the other pieces figuring that I could just drill a hole and call it a day, when I looked down the holes all lined up. I know that sounds friggin' crazy but it's true, I have no explanation. It's one of those things that just makes you shake your head and move on. I know the holes didn't line up, I KNOW THEY DIDN'T!! But there it was all fixed. I've started to pay more attention and will let you know if anything freaky and unexplainable happens, but DAMN! some weird stuff is going on.

I wish I could remember more, but the other more subtle things are escaping me right now. I wish I had an explanation for them, but I don't. And for you detractors out there, I know what I saw I know what happened. I just wish I could have recorded the fact that I had experienced these things so people wouldn't think I was crazy.

Anyone else experience stuff like this? It's very unsettling to think you're crazy

I'm fascinated by this stuff, and I don't think you're crazy I don't know if you and your aunt were close, but it sounds like they are connected...IMO. People may think I'm crazy for believing in stuff like that...but I do. If you remember anything else...post it...I'd love to read about it!

I will post anything new that happens, but I'm hoping that nothing new does happen. It does freak me out, though it is cool to think that someone is watching out for me, if that's what it is and I'm actually not crazy....though it's possible that I'm just crazier than a shithouse rat.

Maybe there's a crafty ninja sneaking around in your garage, using tools and helping you fix things under the cover of darkness. That'd be pretty useful

Sure is interesting and I don't think you are crazy either. At least the strange things are happening in your favor.

I've had lots of real life crazyness and much unexplainabe health issues.

There was this time though, years ago. I for some reason put a fishing reel on top of a buffet cabinet. I went to get it one day and when grabbed it I heard the metal back of it fall behind the cabinet, I looked on the floor underneath nothing, so I said forget it. The next weekend I moved the buffet and it was nowhere to be found! Now there was no one in this house during the week. I was dumbfounded and said wtf, did it fall into the Twilight Zone! I asked my family for months if they saw it. It's been about 30 years and it never turned up.

I'm sticking to the Twilight Zone theory!

pretty sure it's not ninjas, but they are sneaky and stealthy...I'll keep an eye out for them. Had a real bad ninja infestation once, opened up a fresh can of whoop ass and took care of it myself.

honestly, who wouldn't want ninjas... would it actually be an infestation? Let me be the first to say publically that my house is open to any helpful or hindering ninjas. Honestly... if i went upstairs and I saw a ninja kick over my rocking chair I'd be like, "oh, silly ninja... when will you learn?!". Send them my way.

i've had a lot of strange things happen to me too. sometimes it feels as if there's someone up there who's looking out for me. i can't be certain, but there's no other explanation.
there's always going to be those people who think you're crazy - especially because they haven't been so lucky, but those are the ones you ignore. you know that these things happened and that's all that matters

Something strange is happening on my PC right now. Medusa's avatar keeps changing from a pickle to a carrot to a pepper to a banana and back to a pickle again. Very weird.

ummmm .. so we've ruled out the Ninja idea... bummer.
I was really rooting for that one.

Was your aunt handy with power tools, or molecule shifting? The incorrectly-drilled holes incident makes me think that it wasn't your aunt - unless she developed some pretty friggen awesome skills within the first few weeks of afterlife.

Did the former homeowners mention a resident ghost? Sounds like a friendly one.

One of my good friends had a little ghost kid hanging around his house that would flush the toilets periodically for fun. They even called out a plumber to be sure that there wasn't something physically wrong with the toilets in the house. There wasn't. Soon thereafter, I was told, this friend met the ghost kid, 2 or 3 years old.

odd. Hasn't ever happened to me. I probably scare all the good ones away.

Don't take it personally. America being a young country hasn't really had enough time to accumulate LOTS of ghosts. So, the chance of encountering one are much lower here.
Plus, being vigilent is the quickest way to not see one. All of the stories i have read/heard all say that it was happenstance, or serendipity. Although it would be cool to see one. Sorta like the universe has singled you out for a look behind the curtain, so to speak.

hi saltpork....what your experiencing seems to be paranormal encounter. but i dont think you have anything to worry about. it could be your aunt as you described or just a mistievous spirit. it is common in some cases that spirits can remove objects and put them in other places, were you haven't left them before. no one knows for sure why they move things but sometimes they do. so dont worry your not crazy, just that some sort of spirit is keen to be arounded you....if you are worried about it or somethings start to happen that you think are bad or scary, you can have it removed. just ask at your local church and they may point you in the right direction...just note that having a spirit around is not necessarilly a bad thing! whether you believe it or not, is up to you.
cheers arnie.
