Best closing tracks
I did a few searches and couldn't find any threads along the same lines as this.
So what are everyone's favourite album closers, the last track on a record? I feel a really good final track can raise a great album into brilliance, but I'm the type who sits and listens to a CD or record all the way through. Anyway, here's mine: Jungleland - Bruce Springsteen, Born to Run Desolation Row - Bob Dylan, Highway 61 Revisited Moonlight Mile - Rolling Stones, Sticky Fingers The Biggest Lie - Elliott Smith, Elliott Smith Drop - Red House Painters, Ocean Beach In Metal - Low, Things We Lost in the Fire CFGF - Tindersticks, Simple Pleasure Song to New York - Graham Lindsey, Famous Anonymous Wilderness Ft. Worth Blues - Steve Earle, El Corazon Donimo - Cocteau Twins, Treasure Anywhere I Lay My Head - Tom Waits, Rain Dogs |

I hate to ask this but, what about the "Hidden Tracks" that are sometimes 1-20minutes after the official last track?
for example on Greenday's "dookie" album there is the track All by myself at the very end and i feel that closes out the cd fairly well |

How about Outside the Wall from Floyd's The Wall.... short sweet, to the point and most definitely a closing statement.

On the Beatles Abbey Road album, Her Majesty. The story behind it is that Abbey Road was the last Beatles Album to be recorded, and the previous track was titled "The End." The group didn't want their last recorded song be titled this, so they threw in this little ditty.
