yea bit of a fan. it's getting a bit stale however! it seems to be becoming such a trend now and there are so many "hardcore / Metalcore" bands around at the moment and a lot of them seem to be doing the same thing!
however there are a few notable exceptions to the rule!! love most of the old stuff (black flag, circle jerks etc.) and some of the stuff like converge and the like (don't know how much of it you can really call hard core) but that's all debatable.

yea, I really don't think you could put Converge down as a hardcore band, I mean, they're about as metalcore as they come. Though I've never liked making up all these genres to explain a band, Converge just isn't hardcore...Hardcore is, at least to me, really fast and intense punk music. Now Converge, this is just a band that is metal with Bannon screaming in the mic at the top of his lungs, and thats metalcore.
