The relay is under the dash/behind the dash to the left of the steering column. And the fuse is in the inside fuse block on the left side of the dash.

Is the horn not working? A bunch of the GM cars and trucks I worked on have had the horn contact break under the steering wheel. They make the guide out of plastic and it cracks after a while just because of heat. Once the guide is broken the contacts may not line up anymore when you press the horn. Don't know if the clockspring is part of that circuit off hand or not but if the clockspring was bad your airbag light would be on.

Thanks!

That sounds like some sound advice to me

I posted the question for a friend of mine on another list.

He's in Dallas Area, I'm in Oklahoma City, have never seen the problem vehicle.

We are good friend though, due to the fact we both ride Honda Goldwings.

I will keep you updated on anything he says to me about your post.

Thanks!

It turned out to be a problem under the horn button area in the steering wheel. Part is on order and it will be fixed soon.

Thanks for your responses!

It's good that he figured it out. Where I am a car won't pass safety inspection without a working horn. It's just the sun and how GM decided to design the horn parts. Park outside a lot and bake all those plastic pieces in the sun and it's bound to happen.

If it's just that plastic piece under the wheel I think it's like $10.
