Someone used my car as a tramopline

Ok so the other day I walk outside my house and notice that there are 4 hammer dents on my car 3 on the hood 1 on the door. Immediately I am pissed off but living in a fraternity house you run some risk of vandalism. I filed a report with the police and figured nothing would ever happen and just tried to move on. Then yesterday I walk outside again and someone jumped all over my car caving in the roof. Fortunately, just the roof was damaged. Now I am just outraged because I have done absolutely nothing to deserve this. The police did another report and had a few leads. Luckily I haven't washed my car in about 4 months so their footprints are all over my car. Anyways, once I am able to make repairs I was wondering the best way to get dents out a car and pop the hood back up. I want to spend as little money as possible because I am hoping I get enough from the trial to get a new car or enough for a down payment. And no I don't have insurance coverage on this. I will get pics up asap. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated...

That truly and utterly sucks.

Do you know anyone who has a grudge against you?

I can only suggest you bring it to a "panel beater" (as they are called in Ireland) to see if he/she can fix the dents.

Alternatively, if you're feeling adventurous, you could try knocking out the dents yourself with a rubber hammer...

Thats why I like driving pieces of shit, the thing is you don't mess with somebody's car, but still your better off to find out who it is yourself and beat the living piss outta them.

If the metal from the hammer dents isn't creased badly and the dents aren't huge, you can put a piece of dry ice in the center, push it so it melts into the shape of the dent, and wait until the metal shrinks back into place from the sudden temperature change. The other preferred method is the toilet plunger (preferably unused) to suck the dents out. Just center it over the dent, push to seal, and pull until it pops.

Next time you park your car there you should hook up a hot 400 amp power line to the chassis of the car and wait until hammer boy comes back. Rubber shoe soles cannot prevent 400 amps at 120 volts from grounding through the soles of his feet.

What sucks is my car isn't that nice, it runs great but the paint has been shreaded from the California sun. The dry ice sounds like a great idea, I will definately use that once I can. And my friend suggested some suction cup things that are used to take out dents. Now all I can do it sit and plot my revenge while I wait for this cold hearted son of a bitch to fry.

You can get dent pullers, it's the same idea as the plunger posted above. You can also pull the panel off and try to straighten it out with a rubber mallet on the back. It all depends on how severe the damage is, if the dents are too large or creased you're probably just better off replacing the panel.

the dry ice would probably work... but it would be pretty costly, the cheapest i can find dry ice in my area is 50 cents a pound... and that would add up pretty quick... a block thats roughly 1 foot square and 2 inches thick is about 10 pounds...

i would buy a plunger at walmart... use it to get the dents out and then return it...
