Extra bonus points if you can guess what this car was?
Simple. What car was this?

It took me a little while to see what it was. (Clue: It is not a Ford Mondeo)

hehe, should've read that post about it not being a Mondeo.
It's tough, because the top half looks like a crappy 80s Asian car (blocky primitive roofline, pop-out rear windows), but the design of the hatch and the way it integrates into the rear end and bumper look very modern. I notice the rear seats have 3-point belts, which was rare in American cars until 1990 or so. I'm not sure when European cars got them, but that might help narrow down its age. The rear headrests are also a good clue that it's not some really old car that's had a lot of bodywork. Unless they swapped in some newer seats of course. I'd have to congratulate whoever put that thing together for making such a unique car, if they were able to hold off on the giant decals and snow plow front end. |

It was a Ford Escort!! Yes, it's got mondeo(Europe) /Contour(US) Mk I head lamps and Mondeo Mk II rear lamps. Vectra wing mirrors and a nasty paint job! The question I would like to ask... WHY??

Old signature just wasn't doing it for me anymore, so now I have this new one. It's equally as stupid but at least it looks really long. I'm probably just going to keep typing until I run out of things to babble about and see how many people actually read this. I once ran down a hill, fell down and hurt my elbow; my mom said I would be ok, she kissed it and made it all better. I've run out of things to say now, so if you have read this whole thing, congratulations you get a gold star! |
