I'm going to laugh if it gets bad fuel economy. Maybe it's a hybrid or one of the new really efficient diesels. That would be pretty cool if it got 40mpg

Looks like a twacked out Mini to me. Stretch out the wheelbase, put taller body on it...i dunno, the whole shape of it kinda reminds me of a Mini.

We've got one of those around town, completely restored -- he lowered it a bit for some reason, so it's not completely stock. But it's too cool anyway.

being an air cooled VW guy since I was a kid, it's pretty hard for me to like the newer versions of the old VWs. The new beetle finally grew on me, I think it had to do with the turbo though . This thing is going to take a lot of work, I think it's hideous. I don't know if its even going into production yet. VW.com has a section on it there and it asks for input from people on what they think and what they'd improve/change. I'd probably fire the design team and start over, the interior isn't too bad, but the exterior needs a complete overhaul.
