Pan poetry

Daylight slowly deadens to black
Another day past to never look back

Sweat drips in and burns my eyes
As the darknes envelopes blue skies

Colder now creatures in bed
While visions of evilness dance in their head

Vampires come out seeking a nights prey
From those too weak to get away

Addicts get home from work and smile as they get high
All the while darkness controls the sky

Creatures of the night dig through garbage cans for food
The moon will help them find something good

But at darkness's peak
All may seem bleak

The sky starts to change back to light
Another day starts and at least for today light has won the fight

Woke up at half past ten
Looked to see if you'd been home
Looks like another day alone again
Talking to each other on the telephone

Looking out my window as I drive through town
Seeing couples walking hand in hand
Brought back times when you were around
But now we seem to live in different a different land

You keep accusing me of making life misery
And I close up like a clam letting feelings drown
We're together yet we live our lives so seperately
The future is an unknown road we have to go down

We may end or be stronger than ever
It's a 50/50 shot as long as we try
But blaming each other will never put us back together
And love will surely die

Sitting here thinking of you
Wondering what is left to do

Do we part ways
And not share our days

Or do we end the madness and admit our love to each other
And work to be together

What do we say when we're scared of the future
And what the other wants we are unsure

Who do we need to become
Or do we just need to get numb

Do we need to bury feelings deep
And not let the other see us weep

Or can we find ways to open our heart
And tell the other we don't want to live a part

How do we move forward and show each other our love
And how do we know it is enough

How do we get back into each other's arms
And lose ourselves in each others charms

I guess it all depends on the trust we have for each other
That in the end will bring us together

I like the first poem although it seemed as if there wasn't enough talk of hope and the "light." Next you wrote of some troubling issues with love. Love is tough but I find it best to never give up on it no matter which form it comes in.
