A Poem
I've been writing for about two years now and my collection of original poem-like works is growing; I figure I may as well post one here and see if anyone reads it. It's one I'm more proud of; not much of what I write is very good. Enjoy or not.
Ode to Day Face to face with destiny The everyhero behold In brilliant dusty light, Evertime forbidden, city Our “may”, gold. Holy ceiling of moment, Jubilent we to fight Twists forgotten by twister, An evermoment shared Forbidden by maker Histor’. Inspiration of old Our One contact told: That forbidding light A bridge to be dared! The moment of Ever. Spiraling that Everhole Death’s ver’ asymptote Paragon th’art impelt to note - ‘Tis but holiday us! Sullen lost a soul Flying, crying, clever In freedom, fear, Fated thee fault Everhero: Bridgemap gallantry thus Stumbling - thine aim - lastly Lesson learner. Follow so? What ho! Not a stranger, no. In chaos unity accepted we our role Ever-to-dare we Evermad edge Then crossed we the light! - Of the Everseer. - Sacrifice ordinare And of defiance, art: Know thee no peace? Know we now, Peace. |
