A Poem
I've been writing for about two years now and my collection of original poem-like works is growing; I figure I may as well post one here and see if anyone reads it. It's one I'm more proud of; not much of what I write is very good. Enjoy or not.
Ode to Day
Face to face with destiny
The everyhero behold
In brilliant dusty light,
Evertime forbidden, city
Our “may”, gold.
Holy ceiling of moment,
Jubilent we to fight
Twists forgotten by twister,
An evermoment shared
Forbidden by maker Histor’.
Inspiration of old
Our One contact told:
That forbidding light
A bridge to be dared!
The moment of Ever.
Spiraling that Everhole
Death’s ver’ asymptote
Paragon th’art impelt to note -
‘Tis but holiday us!
Sullen lost a soul
Flying, crying, clever
In freedom, fear,
Fated thee fault Everhero:
Bridgemap gallantry thus
Stumbling - thine aim - lastly
Lesson learner. Follow so? What ho!
Not a stranger, no.
In chaos unity accepted we our role
Ever-to-dare we Evermad edge
Then crossed we the light!
-
Of the Everseer.
-
Sacrifice ordinare
And of defiance, art:
Know thee no peace?
Know we now, Peace.
