I have a Lhasa Apso that's a house dog that never really grew named Molly and two outside dogs. Tuffy, who is ~16 years old and has arthritis really bad, and Patches, who is hyper and likes to play with plastic bottles and sticks.
Always had dogs and cats growing up. My favorites, besides Molly, would have to be the Doberman Pinscher named Zip who grew up with me and PC who was, as my cousin said, the devil cat. She loved to terrorize my brother especially, but anyone in general when she was in the mood. |
I have 4 Fantail Goldfish, used to have 5 but one died.

I'm just not an animal person. :(

oye vey...
I live with a Border Collie mix named Penny. Great dog... afraid of t-stoms, but very sweet and timid. Then there is this obnoxious creature named Sir Nigel the Brat that comes in and eats every night. 16 pound orange tabby. Major, major doo-doo head. Although he is a hunter extrodinare. Likes to leave us "gifts" at the bottom of our stoop in the mornings. This week it was a BAT! Can you imaine... a freaking bat. I was quite suprised by that one. We also keep a beta fish in one little tank and two gold-fish in another tank. Nice little family we got going. Thinking about getting some birds. Finches. I think they would be cool although Nigel might eat them. |
I have an orange tabby cat named Simba. He reminds me of a cross between Garfield (lazy and will eat anything) and Morris the Cat (just big and orange). I have posted pics of him in the TFP pets thread in Tilted Photography. He is a people cat. He loves to be where everyone is. Sometimes he will even sit on top of the game the kids are playing. He reminds me when it is bed time by hopping onto the couch next to me and practically sits on my laptop, licking my hands as I type. Then he lets me know when it is morning time, by either licking me or chewing on the cord from the lamp near my bed. He is great with the kids and they love him to pieces (unless he eats their toys, which he has done many times). He is a good cat. Even my dad loves him!

Ahhh...He watches over his people. :)

I like that, Elphaba. It made me smile, and describes Simba perfectly.

My border collie, Albert.
http://i75.photobucket.com/albums/i3...gh/Albert2.jpg The smartest, most wonderful pet ... IMO |
Two guinea pigs - Minnie and Lola (Anybody want them? They were a gift, they make a mess, and they cost me the most time and money.)
Two parakeets - Sky (blue) and Sunny (green and yellow) Two Betas - Pat and Gary Four Goldfish - Baby, Lucy, George, and Susie Two cats - Catrina (3 yrs old) Itty Bitty (6 weeks old). Catrina does not appreciate the newest addition but she's SLOWLY getting used to it. I love having our own mini, indoor, petting zoo. :p The kids love it too. |

I have several fishies!
Jerush - ("Ugly Bob" according to Turbotom) a battered but loved long-finned black tetra. He had been terribly chased and bothered by his tankmates when I purchaseed him, even had fin-rot. He recovered well with a little MelaFix, and has been healthy and happy for the past year. Patricia - an interactive, HUGE bottom-feeder whom I inherited from an elementary school that was retiring their fish tank. She and Jerush play tag every now and again. It's hliarious to watch. Firey & Mighty - "twin" guppies that have super bright, red, flaming designs. They have an incest problem, always flirting with their daughters. Femme Jr. & Andro - female "twin" guppies that are a generic black and gray. Constantly pestered by the males. Sunshine, Twilight, and Camomile - male "triplet" guppies, also of the younger generation. They like to pester the females every now and again, but mainly they like to school and occasionally tease Silver Tip. Silver Tip - the "sherriff" of the tank. He's a tiny silver-tip tetra who dive-bombs any guppies that get in his or Jerush's way. |
Gee, genuinegirly.
There's a lot happening in that fishtank of yours. The most drama I get is when my dog decides to tip over the garbage can to look for leftovers. |
i have two red toy poodles and a severe mcaw. got the mcaw after i had to put down a dog over ten years ago...just couldn't bear to do that again and birds live to be 50-60 years old.
then, we were visiting a friend who had a silver toy poodle. it was love at "first lap." then i learned that they don't shed and are the second smartest dog behind border collies. all that sealed the deal. these dogs are so smart i taught them to roll over inone afternoon each. wonderful pets!! |
I've had a lot of pets. Everything from goats to ostriches. Now though I have one annoying bird (maroon bellied conure) that I'm trying to get rid of, a very smart greyhound/boxer mixed dog, and 2 cats.

One cat, gray, female, five years old, named Selina. She is so gentle and submissive that upon being approached by a stranger she'll lay down and flop over on her back.
About 30 fishies, but they're Grace's thing, so I don't know species or names. Watching Selina watching the fish can be an afternoon's entertainment alone. Gilda |

My brother's cat does that. He's also a very chatty cat. Mac would sit in my path and meow at me politely as if to converse and I'd meow back. We'd go back and forth like this for a while ... I sometimes wonder if this fella is trying to tell me something. |
