Testosterone injections
Sorry if this question is in violation to the rules about drugs, medications, etc. I’ve been wondering if any one has tried these testosterone injections before or known any one who has. I’ve done some reading and it looks kind of close to your regular steroids, and helps with fat burning which is my major thing, but im not wanting to get super ripped or anything, im fine with the muscle I have now but I’d actually like to look like I can bench-press 300 pounds, and not press another banana split into my face. Im curesious if any one know about it, side-effects, gains, etc. -Thanks

Your talking about pro-hormones and steroids.
Judging by the level of knowledge you have of them, stay well away! You can be big and ripped by just training and eating well, simple as that, it takes a bit of time, but the results are worth it. |

Anabolic steroids were developed to reduce the side effects of regular testosterone. Almost none of them will build muscle better than test, but they reduce the other problems. Things like testicle shrinkage, hair loss on head, hair growth in other areas, other things like that. See, much of the test you take aromatizes into dht, which causes the hair loss and is very androgenic. Artificial testosterones were created to try to eliminate some of the androgenic effects. The first was deca-durabolin, and it is a classic muscle builder. Others were built to tweak the effects. Some anabols build red blood cells and treat anemia very efficiently. Others minimize androgenic effects but tear up the liver. Because test is injected (swallowing it would destroy it because the body would digest it) it bypasses the liver and is less harmful to the liver. Other oral steroids pass much more readily through the liver and cause a lot more damage to process.
BTW, I have never used steroids, but I am a personal trainer. do they work? Yes. Are they harmful? Less harmful than cocaine, ecstasy, lsd, speed, heroin, or many other drugs. Do they cause problems? There are side effects and because it is illegal, the medical community igonres helping athletes who are using them. Should athletes take them? On principle, no. Have any track and field or weightlifting records in the past 40 years been set without them? Probably not, and certainly not in the last twenty years. Witness the Irish swimmer who stank in the 92 olympics, Took a couple of golds, in the 96 olympics, and then failed drug tests the next year. Look at the whole chinese swim team who dominated one olympics and then was eliminated in the nest couple of years for failing frug tests. |

The side effects, do they last for the duration you are taking or are they lifelong? I've been working out for the past 5 years, eating right, I went from a size 52 to a 38, im 6.3 ft tall now weigh 250 and can bench press over 320. But I still have a gigantic pot belly that sticks out something terrible, gigantic man boobs and lots of fat in my face and neck. So im really self-conscious about it, and still get shit from people who've never seen me lift people look at me as assume that im just a regular fat-ass. So i've read that these injection help with these problem areas. I don’t drink, smoke infact I don’t even drink pop any more haven't in years, it's iced tea, water and coffee for me, but i'd hate to do damage my body seriously now. So testosterone is more hard core than regular anabolic steroid? I though it was the other way around lol, I though testosterone was weaker than anabolic steroids.

My $.02; look more seriously into your nutrition/cardio routine to reduce excess fat, don't mess with testosterone/steroids.

Let me make this clear to everyone, Anabolic steroids ARE testosterone. They're made to help patients recover from sevre muscle detrophy, surgery and if their own body stops producing testosterone naturally. Body builders use them because testosterone helps build muscle. There are different types of steroid, but all are illegial unless prescribed, and all need to be taken with the utmost care. Stay away from anabolic steroids and pro-hormones! If you want to lose fat, do more cardio. Fat loss is caused by when your body burns more calories than it consumes, nothing else. Take a visit to www.bodybuilding.com and read some of their articles, 'tis how i've gotten most of my knowledge. |

Anabolic steroids are NOT testosterone. Steroids were created to minimize the side effects of testosterone production. Testosterone is a steroid. see the difference?
Transam, taking steroids is a risky business because a doctor will not work with you to check blood levels, minimize side effects, and so on. When it comes to dosing, you are on your own. It would be a trial and error process taking very powerful hormones. Will it kill you? no. Will you have changes, many undesirable? Yes. The other problem is insuring that your stuff is legitimate and sterile. Who knows if some drug dealer is trying to rip you off? If you fool around, be careful, because you cannot trust anyone. |
