to much weight loss? and another random Question

Well, I have a question to ask today that has been bothering me all morning

#1: As most of you know, I have been dieting a while well I took a small break and just held my ground and weight and now I have started up again to finish the second half of the race, I was 218 pounds 3 days ago and I just weighed myself again today and weighed 213, Normally Ide be very proud but I was concerned I may be losing muscle. I eat aprox 150 - 200G of protein in a day and work my ass off non-stop exercising, but I think losing 5 pounds in a little under 3 days is alot (probaly 2 of the pounds lost were from less salt though)

In the last 3 days I have: Sprinted a mile overall
Jogged 2 - 3 miles
Lifted weights for a hour x2
2 HIIT sessions (7 & 8 mins [Im going for 9 on Friday]
45 minutes of random jogging/biking/stretching/whatever (was bored during commericals on american idol lol)
+calories burned from walking around (I very rarely sit down Im always standing really

Now Im curious, I have been exercising alot but I think 5 pounds lost is still alot, but I would like some advice ( Im getting aprox 1500 - 1700 calories in a day (the amount a dieting person should get as I understand)

#2: 2 Questions combined about front squats:

Well, Today I just did front squats for the second time and the first time I found the socket ok but today I just couldnt seem to find the stupid thing no matter how hard I tried, instead of it fitting minorly uncomfortably I got massive pain from holding it, any advice?

and just a little extra thing ... Why the hell are front squats so much harder then back squats? I struggle to do a 75 pound front squat and can do a near 200 back squat is this natural haha?

Thanks, Off to go rest so freaking tired Russian Curls + Front Squats + lunges = nap time

the only side effects i know of substanial weight lose are strech marks on the pits and any other areas you lose a lot of weight but not necessarilly skin..... ive also heard problems of peoples hearts adjusting to new stress levels but thats about it...

also your weight can be measured differently at different points of the day... if you measure early on you'll more likely be empty or if you just took a BM... but if you just come out of snacking or eating a meal and weigh yourself youll have some additional weight.. so its all variable

I wouldn't sweat the 5 lbs. You've got your water weight, your daily fluctuations, and the like. Give it a few more days and see if it continues. I've had my weight fluctuate up to 4 lbs just due to the amount of fluid I take in on a particular day.

Though, if you're 213 lbs, 1500-1700 calories sounds really low -- especially if 600-800 of those are from protein. Depends on how much lean body mass you may already have, but I'd bump that up to 1900-2000 calories. YMMV.
