Anyone been on a Contiki trip?

Contiki is a company that provides tours all over the world for 18-35 year olds. I took their Grand European trip back in 1988 when I was 17 and it was a blast. See their site here .

It's a neat way to travel, really. Depending on the type of tour you choose, you can stay in hotels all the time or camp out all the time or anything in between. I chose the 'concept' tour, where we camped out in tents most nights and travelled the whole of Europe (and part of Asia) entirely on a coach. Way cool way to see the 'other' parts of most European cities, as campgrouds typically exist outside most congested areas.

I credit that trip, at such a young age, with establishing in me an expanded worldview, which I think is a 'good thing.' I think too many of my American countrymen haven't ventured much beyond their own county lines, and could do with a little cultural education.
