Any Heel Spur Sufferers?
I've had heel spurs for several years now. Had them diagnosed and did the orthotics thing. They came on after buying a treadmill and running frequently. I can get buy with just store bought inserts if I'm careful. Standing is actually the worst.
I really enjoyed the running, getting into the zone and pushing past the pain. I'd like to start back but fear the heel pain I will undoubtedly endure. Still, no cardio captures me quite like the run. Nor do they shed the pounds like running! Any one out there run inspite of heel spurs? Any advice, or is this a lost cause? Thanks for the help!! |

I've had to give up running completely because of bone spurs on my heel. Sometimes even my daily walking causes pain. I have switched to non-impact type exercises like riding bike, elliptical machines, etc. Sorry no success story from me.....
