Battlefield 2 engine copy sold
DICE has sold a copy of the new engine for Battlefield 2 to a company called AerotechTelub. It will be used to develop combat simulators, stategy simulators and demonstration platforms for the Swedish Armed Forces.
"AerotechTelub chose the Battlefield 2 technology because it enables simulation of large geographical areas. It also gives the player the possibility to co-practice different roles in the Swedish defense, and the ability to train for international efforts. The Battlefield 2 engine can also be applied to support the development of new management methods within the military." http://global.dice.se/press/pressrel...4-362c572257d8 I guess this is a nice hint of what BF2 will be capable of when it arrives next spring! (New state-of-the-art weapon systems, including heat seeking missiles and laser designated bombs etc etc etc!!!! Oooooohhhh yeaaaaahhhhhhh)

I can't wait for this game. BF 1942 and BF Vietnam are my most favorite online games ever. I love the BF series and BF2 is looking to be spectacular!
