Indeed, a decent control scheme will be the center of many a wettie for me.

Bah! There was nothing wrong with RE's controls! Weird as first but like butter after.
I hope we don't have the DMC syndrome controls in RE4 though, where you're running towards a door, loading screen appears, then you end up going back through that door 'cause your thumb was down in the direction you were heading but the angle changed and fucked you up. Just sucks that it will only be on DC. Not worth buying a DC for this game. Although its one friggen awesome game.

Errr.....what's a DC? (Forgive my ignorance on the subject). Also, I thought it was coming out on the Ninendo Gamecube. I'm so confused....

i've only ever played:
resident evil 2(64), resident evil 1 remake for GC, and resident evil 0. the only good thing i remember about those games is that the nightmares didn't last too long. many times when i'm playing a game for a very long time, or a game that i haven't beaten, those games somehow, some way, wind up being involved in my dreams. this only seems to happen with new games that i get. i remember once i dreamt that i was on wheel of fortune playing against the tyrant, and lost, and the audience turned into zombies. i'm weird. i know.
