Two totally different games for one. Both games improved and brought innovations to gaming. But for me, playing Halo was more enjoyable. To be honest, Starcraft and games of that nature stress me out. Maybe I shouldnt concentrate so hard but it seems like there is always so much going on. With Halo I coud always count on enjoying laying down the FLOOD with the trustee shotgun.!

Halo is my 2nd favorite game of all time next to the original Quake for PC. I've probably spent around 500 hours playing Halo and must have spent 1000s of hours online playing Quake. I would still play Quake today if other people were still into it. I love that game.

Man, you can't even begin to compare SC and Halo. They are two completely different games.
Unless of course you are talking about StarCraft: Ghost, which in that case, my vote goes to SC:G, b/c I hate Halo.

Enven being a FPS gamer I voted for starcraft. I thougth halo totally blowed as a FPs for the computer. I have never played it on the console so cant judge that version of it. i have played starcraft a bit and between the two starcraft is the only one I would play again.

I don't think you guys are suppose to compare them. I think the creator are just asking which game do you like more. I think....
I voted for StarCraft.

i dont understand why you guys are calling this a stupid question. i think he's asking which game you play more, enjoy more, or would pick to play if that was the only game left to play in this world. its a rhetorical question. to me its hands down starcraft, can't really beat a game that still has over 100k users online at all time even after, what, 6-7 years?

a couple years ago i used to seriously do nothing but play starcraft. i would wake up, sit in my computer chair and play starcraft all day long only moving to use the bathroom or get more mountain dews to help keep me awake until about 8 A.M. every morning. i'd wake up at 4 or 5 P.M. the next day and do the exact same thing. this went on for around 3 or more years. i finally got a life and stopped doing that shit, but now that i'm in college when my roommate and i get bored (i can't play starcraft on the college network here) so we'll turn on the ol' xbox and fire up a few halo games over the network and rape everyone i play halo a SHITLOAD but nowhere near as much as i played starcraft. so, it was a tough decision for me, but i'm gonna have to go with starcraft on this. it was so much fun, i was seriously addicted to it. every now and then i miss that lifestyle, i had some good online friends and shit :P

Starcraft introduced the concept of completely differing races and strategies into the genre of RTS. Halo introduced new graphics. And cars. But I think Starcraft did much more for the world of gaming.

Since this poll was inspired by the GameFAQs poll, let me be the first to inform everyone on how it went...
StarCraft started off with an early lead, then Halo pulled away for most of the day. At the end of the night, within the last hour I think, StarCraft came back and won the match by 373 votes. Here's the final result... 1 Halo - 56258 (49.83%) 16 StarCraft - 56631 (50.17%)

Halo is my favorite game of all time. The single player game is awesome, but Multiplayer is the game's true specialty. I love playing some Team CTF with all my friends, two XBOX's, two TV's, and a link cable. That, my friends, is the stuff dreams are made of.

for those of you who said halo was overrated and boring once you beat it... you obviously never played online much, 8 v 8 ctf games are INTENSE, with good hosts you experience barely any lag if any.
And I am also a very experienced starcraft player, but for me halo just never gets old playing online, starcraft did(yes I played on bnet... I dont think I even finished the entire campeign). Though starcraft is one hell of a game and I still play it time to time.

This is kinda off-topic, but since there's alot of StarCraft fans here, I'll point this out: tomorrow at http://www.GameFAQs.com the site will have Starcraft (who beat Halo in the first round) facing Kingdom Hearts in a "Best. Game. Ever." contest. I just thought I'd point that out for everyone.

I just beat Halo PC, and I must say I couldnt wait till it was over, never in my life have a played such a overrated repetitive boring game like that in my life. I kept hoping it would get better as I went along, but it got worse, going through the same levels backwards???? WTF is that about?
