The AI target priority does seemed a bit skewed towards focusing on you at times. It's been most obvious to me when confronting MG42 positions. No matter what, as soon as you stick your head up or peek around a corner, the AI will be gunning for you. Same goes for AI Armor though to a bit lesser extent since you don't face it quite as often. Replay the Pegasus Day mission and you'll find that no matter where you go the tanks will follow. Also in Pavlov's House the tanks have x-ray vision. Start at one end of the house and take a center hallway to the other end and the tanks fire will track you the whole way even though they can't 'see' you.

Another one of the small things I like is that you actually get to aim using the gun sights. Anyone else played a game where you do this? I can't remember if it's like this in Battlefield. |

Red Orchestra mod for UT2003 has this. Raven Shield (I think) has this. Pretty much any game that deals heavily with realism. Though I wouldnt consider CoD very realistic Last edited by Hercules; 11-10-2003 at 08:41 PM.. |
