Yeah I love the new Orc RPG, I was happily suprised when I booted it up and played that, a good mix of comedy and action make it a really great expansion. I always liked the Blizzard expansions I find they 1 up every other company

to be honest.. i lost interest after a few lvls.. maybe its the repetition, maybe its the complexity, maybe 4 races is too much.. i just can't say i liked this as much as i liked Starcraft :-P

Anyone on here play the Tides of Blood custom game? I'm looking to find people that stay in the game.
you can get the map at www.tidesofblood.com It's an Aeon of Stife type map, two sides, equally spawning armies trying to destroy the other side. Up to 5 heros on a side helping the computer controlled armies destroy the other side's bases. It's great fun, if it's balanced teams. Once people start dropping though...it's hard for 3 people to play five heros effectively.

I'm a ways into the night elf campaign (are there any more? I like playing the orcs, too..). It seems excellent so far, continuing the high quality single player that was found in WC3. Although I'm not by any means a good RTS player, I find these games enjoyable. Kudos to blizzard.

This game rules. Best part is playing on Bnet. The campaigns are fun, but one time arounds and you probably wont do them again. Definitely worth the price if you consider the replay value w/ mulitplayer, all the custom games that are out there, and the map editor which is awesome in itself.
BTW i'll have to try the 3 ladies strat, sounds good, but what units to you use with them? |

I really like TFT, but I have to admit I got a little bored toward the end. I really wanted to just find out what happened with Arthas.
I cannot wait for WoW, the entire Warcraft universe seems to be coming together very nicely and is going to make an awesome MMORPG. Buk AKA Bigbarq |

I was wondering if this Expansion is worth it? I mean, I know that Blizzard expansions are usually as good, if not better, than the game itself. But I want a bit more information about it before buying it. I mean besides the new units and heroes, what other things are there? How have the addressed balance between the races?

The original was crap in comparison to the expansion pack. I'm talking multiplayer. Once you try it and get decent, you'll be hooked. Other than a few minor balancing issues, I think this is the best RST of all time. See if I'm on sometime - BuddyHawks on Azeroth.
And this shouldn't need to be discussed, but there are two new CGI movies; One at the beginning, one at the end. SPOILER********** And who else was pissed off that there wasn't an Orc campaign! Bonus campaign doesn’t count.

I thought the Bonus campaign was a lot of fun. I wasn't really upset about lacking a full featured Orc campaign. Blizzard's reasoning is good too. They said that simply, Orcs wouldn't fit into the story line. How many other companies would try to cram in the extra campaign even though it would be weaker and contribute less to the storyline, and end up botching it up.

DSL coming in a few days. Let's see how fast I get knocked off the ladder. Blizzard has been quality for years. I hope they continue the trend. Here's to hoping for Starcraft 2.

I can't believe I never replied to this thread
Anyway, I love this game and playing multiplayer with a few friends is great. The other thing I love about this game is the user created maps and mods. I've found some strange and amazing maps on the net but the best collection of them I found here. If anyone is through the standard maps and wants something different then try the link below.
