The original was crap in comparison to the expansion pack. I'm talking multiplayer. Once you try it and get decent, you'll be hooked. Other than a few minor balancing issues, I think this is the best RST of all time. See if I'm on sometime - BuddyHawks on Azeroth.
And this shouldn't need to be discussed, but there are two new CGI movies; One at the beginning, one at the end.
