I'm seven now as I was then. When children die they do not grow.My hair was scorched by swirling flame. My eyes grew dim, my eyes grew blind. Death came and turned my bones to dust. And that was scattered by the wind.I need no fruit, I need no rice. I need no sweet, nor even bread. I ask for nothing for myself. For I am dead, for I am dead. All that I ask is that for peace. IGN gave it a fucking 9.5 out of 10. I'm buying it as soon as I get paid.

I'm not a big RPG fan, but LucasArts gave me a demo a few months ago that looked intriguing enough that I'm giving it a try. So far, it's not bad. I need to log a few more hours to see if it'll hook me, though.

The company that made it, Bioware, has an excellent track record for making kick ass games. So I'm really looking forward to when it comes out for PC's.

Okay, here's the skinny.

I've put about six hours into it so far and here are my initial impressions.

The controls are actually pretty solid. One joystick for the camera and one for character control. The battle system is pretty cool as well. They call it real time turn based. Which means it's turn based, like all the classic RPGs, but it happens in real time, which is pretty neat. You issue commands in chunks and let them have at it. The one thing I really like is the pause before you actually do battle. It lets you scope out the enemy; equip the right tools; and get everything set up before you run right in and slice and dice.

I don't understand the finer points of the feats and skills stuff yet, but I'll work it out.

I'm currently playing both sides. I have a male scoundrel class working his way up the light side. And I have a male scout working his way up the dark side. Needless to say the dark side is much more fun....at least so far.

I haven't got very far with either side, yet, in fact, I've not even chosen a jedi class to follow.

I haven't run into any glitches, bugs, or annoyances of any kind; So far it's been a painless and extremely cool experience.

BEST. GAME. EVER!

I picked this one up on thursday, and put in over 30 hours this weekend.

This game is so good it's dangerous.
-Epic storyline(s)
-Excellent gameplay
-Beautiful graphics ( that get better as the game progresses, don't judge based on first planet alone )
-Zero bugs/glitches/crashes

If you've got an Xbox, pick this one up ASAP. If not, buy one; and then get this game..

I beat this game last night, I have to say I love it. As far as bugs there is 1 or 2 that only comes once in the game. It is fixable and most ppl never see it. Other than that is great. If you get this game I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

I haven't played it yet, but i definitly think it's going to rock hard. A friend of mine has it and i'm going to try it at his place this weekend.

He says it's the best console RPG he's ever played. We shall see about that.

i have basically lost all faith/hope in gaming developers making decent games based on the SW franchise. Lucas arts completely rooted it and have @ best made average (a use that term losely) games.

seems to me it's similar to the NeverWinterNights engine?
