Oblivion vs. Limbo of the Lost
I grabbed this off of another forum after a friend of mine pointed it out. He's also responsible for finding some of the similarities. I really don't need to explain this one, except there is going to some serious shit hitting the fan soon. lol
Limbo: Oblivion: Limbo: Oblivion: Limbo: Oblivion: Limbo: Oblivion: Limbo (notice the background): http://www.justadventure.com/reviews...ost/Snap14.jpg Morrowind: And if all that wasn't enough, check out this trailer. http://www.gametrailers.com/player/28891.html Any Spawn fans recognize the scene at the end around 2:38? Here's Spawn's trailer: http://trailers.warnerbros.com/web/p...e&speed=300000 They also stole from Theif: Deadly Shadows. In case the linked pics don't work, I'll supply links to the pictures underneath them as well. Thief: http://www.ag.ru/screenshots/thief_deadly_shadows/92784 Limbo: http://www.ag.ru/screenshots/limbo_of_the_lost/231765 And on that note, look at the Limbo picture right above here once more, see those skulls hanging from the walls? Any Diablo fans here? http://battle.net/diablo2exp/items/n...ushields.shtml Look at the 2nd last item on that page. Just found some more. Go here and go to 2:37 and pause it. Now go . I can understand taking ideas from other games, but this is just downright plagiarism. Wow, just wow.

More Diabloe theft
Look at the border around the inventory. Diablo SAME DESIGN! Limbo Assets from UNREAL are stolen too Unreal Limbo And Unreal Limbo This shot is ripped from Vampire the Masqurade: Bloodlines, though no comparison pic has been made yet. You can get a larger trailer of the game from ftp://ftp.trisynergy.com/pub/LimboOf...tL-Trailer.zip where they use scene from things like Pirate of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl, and Crysis for PC. Funny quotes from the creator himself! Quote:

He even blames this tactic on his daughter, saying she was the one leaving the comments. Lastly, he gave a final build of the game to a website to review it, which they then posted hints to the game and he responded as the fake user on their forums complaining that they're spoiling the game! Now for a little fun, custom boxart! And you can own this game for only $65 USD! |

Fascinating. I'm not on the gamer websites, so could you keep this thread updated with news as it breaks? I'd be interested to hear the feeble excuses this guy comes up with.

Wow, this is a failure of epic proportions. I can't believe those Oblivion screens, rofl.
Good to know they've decided to stop selling the game, what a blatant ripoff.

Also, the game is 2D... the screenshots are misleading because they look 3D, but they are actually still images with 3D rendered characters. That's right, they just went through a bunch of games and hit "PrtScr" a lot, and made a game out of it. Can't forget the ultra nice looking snow they added though. |

They pulled the game. Here's the press release from the "shocked" distributor.

This is so unbelievable flagrant... they stole everything they could get their hands on and made a game that looks like crap... but the trailer is the real kicker
I mean, even without this copy & paste scandal I couldn't imagine someone paying money for this

Hahahaha, the trailer is so ridiculous. If I didn't know otherwise I'd think it was a joke. They made the game look SO awful. And wow, its amazing how blatant all the thieving is, but at the same time, its not that hard to notice the difference once you look at the screens. If it looks good, its stolen, all the other shit looks like it was done in MS Paint.
