World’s longest domestic cat stretches over 4 feet
5-year-old Maine Coon sets new Guinness world record RENO, Nev. — A cat in Reno has broken the Guinness world record for world's longest domestic cat. The Reno Gazette-Journal reported that a 5-year-old Maine Coon named Stewie was certified as the new record holder after measuring 48.5 inches from the tip of his nose to the tip of his tail bone. That's a little more than 4 feet long. The record was previously held by another Maine Coon that measured 48 inches. Stewie's owners, Robin Hendrickson and Erik Brandsness, said they decided to try for the record after hearing countless people say they were amazed by Stewie's length. Hendrickson said Maine Coons are known as "the gentle giants" of the cat world. |

That makes me wonder:
Was it something inside him his broodiness served? Oh, & I have to amend the Maine Coon statement in 23533: Starbuck came home with a nasty bite on his hand this morning...f**king cats!

I landed on the last palindrome & didn't notice...then.
I like the fact that the tub here at mother's house is a good 4 niches wider than mine at home. Zaftig me is going to enjoy a long hot soak. Not the longest though...that's too pruney inducing. |

As if my sons need
some additional leeway, I offer them this: Nonfiction's oxymoronic through being. (They only approved the second half...)

I'm also wondering what, if any, (though I strongly suspect there is one) mathematical equation defines the pattern of palindrome numbers. When we remodeled our bathroom we kept our large old tube for the very reason you suggest. I was suddenly struck with a bit of pity for the poor oxen to have become associated with such a word, though the ox does clearly have a sharp and a dull end. |

I saw the movie, at 13 years old, when it first came out. It was chosen by the principle of the boarding house where I was staying, with about 200 other similar/older aged kids. I thought it very strange then, but have watched it several times in the last decade. I even have a dvd copy.
Saw Tom Curry as a very bad man on Criminal Minds TV show last night.. Very ugly. .

Teeth marks can be a good thing, except maybe if you are in Castellammare di Stabia, Italy and they are visible from your revealing clothing.
Some shortest news for The Longest Thread: ROME - Just how mini can a miniskirt be? If an Italian mayor of a small Italian seaside town has his way, law enforcement officials, and not fashion gurus, will be the ones to decide. The conservative mayor of Castellammare di Stabia, Luigi Bobbio, says he wants to restore public decorum through a set of norms that include banning football games in public parks, blasphemy, and "very succinct clothes." The rules are expected to be approved by the city council on Monday. But what "very succinct" means is a matter of contention. The Italian press has interpreted the norms as meaning a ban on miniskirts, low-cut shirts and high heels. Bobbio told the AP that miniskirts and other provocative outfits will still be allowed as long as they are not too revealing. |

As far as seeing the marks, it doesn't matter if they can be seen. It's the thoughts that count. |

Such free association,
never into damning anyone, could be counterproductive for a moralist, perhaps, so if we take a diff'rent journey then some other words will flow.

Just the last two stanzas from...
The Autumn by Elizabeth Barrett Browning The dearest hands that clasp our hands, -- Their presence may be o'er; The dearest voice that meets our ear, That tone may come no more! Youth fades; and then, the joys of youth, Which once refresh'd our mind, Shall come -- as, on those sighing woods, The chilling autumn wind. Hear not the wind -- view not the woods; Look out o'er vale and hill- In spring, the sky encircled them -- The sky is round them still. Come autumn's scathe -- come winter's cold -- Come change -- and human fate! Whatever prospect Heaven doth bound, Can ne'er be desolate. |
