It is possible that they "please the ladies something fierce."... but first let's think about it. How much time must one spend a day trying to make a pen move like? How much time a day should one spend on a girl if they actually care about her and want to keep her around? Let's designate the variables A and B, respectively. Now, if A+B>24, your theory's a no-go because they would never get the chance. If however, A+B<24 or A+B=24, then I sincerely hope to learn from them.

It's funny how I actually get what TexanAvenger is talking about. However, I have this thing called "college". If you designate the amount of time I spend on college as variable A, and the time spent doing other things as variable B, then A>24, B<0.

That's true... Somehow school does seem to bend time just enough to one spend more than 24 hours a day working. And throw in a job on top of that.... Let's just say I won't be having the time to learn pen tricks for a good while yet, no matter how many extra hours we start cramming into the day.

The best time to learn pen tricks is in the middle of lecture, at least, until the pen drops to the floor and you're asking the guy two rows in front to grab your pen for you.

the last time i tried a pen trick, it spun off my finger, and three rows down hitting some girl in the back of the head...it was rather funny, though for some reason she didnt think so...and i didnt even get a phone number out of it...sad

I just love the outrageous rock music they use to jazz up the pen twisters twickery!

The only Rubik's thing I could ever do was the flat one with the rings on it, and please don't even get me started with those fiddly, pernickety Rubik's clock thinga-ma-wotsit... ARRRGHH!!

Rubik's Cube. Argh. I can get the first two layers, but the last layer just never comes together. Haven't memorized the rotation patterns to fix the mistakes.

Yeah, drum sticks would be the obvious evolution, or maybe at least chopsticks.
