tinfoil 09-20-2004 07:48 AM

XL double double and a honey crueller.

Now, am I the only one that thinks they need an XXL or an Extra Large Pail o' Fun?

PLEASE I NEED MORE COFFEEEEEE

GreenNV 09-28-2004 03:41 AM

I drink a large 3 & 4 and I love their peanut butter chocolate chunk cookies. :)

Blasphemy. 09-28-2004 05:56 PM

It's hilarious that us Canadians are so obsessed with this place.

We only have two Tim's that are open 24/7 and all day and all night there is at least a 15 car line up in the drive through.

When I first got my license i'd go at least 4 times a day.

afraidofninjas 09-28-2004 07:15 PM

Large 1 milk- 1 sugar. A good kickstart for me. Sesame bagel toasted if I've got the growls. Works for me

I've had a donut there, not too impressed. Then again it was around midnight... Had soup there once, very tasty :D

It's just a doughnut shop alright. I even prefer (gasp!) Krispy Kreme for the warm doughnuts, and the boston creams with white cream instead of custard at KK. Tim Horton's, however, has obtained iconic status in Canada, and many (me included) prefer their coffee over all (even superior) others. I looove Starbucks French Roast, but would give that up for a normal Tim Hortons medium with milk anyday.

When I buy coffe beans for home brewing, i buy the darkest, boldest blends, but there's something about Timmy's on the road that pulls at the heartstrings.

The only thing is, I think the pastries have gone downhill ever since Wendy's bought them. They've gone and standardized all the doughnuts, and the best deal ever, which was the honkin big apple fritter for the same price, is a shadow of its former self.

Sence I work for Sysco Kingston we handle all of Ontarios Tim Hortons so I really don't eat much of there stuff...I like Ice Caps for summer and sometimes I get a Hot Chocolate in the winter before a morning hockey game!

losthellhound 10-12-2004 08:44 AM

Amen to that. Seriously a buddy of mine L w/2 cream and SIX sugar. I have actually refused to order that, where the hell is the coffee there??? So I get him black and ask for cream and sugar on the side. Its the only way i can avoid the embarassment.

saukrates 10-18-2004 08:44 PM

XL 2x2 - accept no substitutions

Grace, Too 10-19-2004 01:10 PM

jakewesier 10-22-2004 05:53 AM

Black, large or Xtra Large depending on time of Day.

Toasted Bagel with Cream Cheese, or a Boston Cream/Toffee Glazed. Quite partial to the Chilli. And when they have that chicken stew with the Bread Bowl I might as well move into a Tim's cuz that shit is the best.

It's totally screwed up in my neighbourhood there are 2 Tim's across the street from each other, not like figuratively but literally across the street. One is drivethru only the other is indoors only... makes sense to pay rent on two places when you could just have 1 store.

Oh and 1 block down the street guess what... yup another Tim Hortons. I'm starting to think that Tim's should just replace the water company and have the taps in the sink have a Coffee knob and just charge that right to your water bill. I'd be into that!

10-22-2004 06:11 AM

large half black/half English toffee cappacino. You have to add one sugar but it's the greatest thing ever.....

wolfpack0102 10-27-2004 09:25 PM

i take a medium double double coffee or if it is cold a medium hot apple cider

Suave 10-27-2004 10:42 PM

A big freakin' box of Timbits.

scott_p_1 10-28-2004 06:12 PM

Medium Double Double. But after this mornings coffee, I don't think I'll get another one any time soon.
I find Tim Horton's coffee to be really hit and miss sometimes. Almost like the McDonalds of coffee.
But the sandwiches are great. I had a turkey club the other day, much better than Subway.

Molo 10-29-2004 01:44 PM

I'll take the extra large triple-triple with a toasted sesame seed bagel with cream cheese. Having 4 Timmy's right on campus is the greatest idea ever. Especially when they started offering a student discount.

frankgrimes 10-29-2004 10:23 PM

I'm from Vancouver, we go to Starbuck's here - cultural difference...

Janey 11-01-2004 10:17 AM

Mmmm French Roast from Starbucks....

I just returned from Tims, and got my souvenir Remembrance Day quarter.

Hey All.... Noobie here!! Great Place!!!

Large Black, Double Cupped at 5:30am and about 6 more during the day... hooked???

I picked up a couple rolls of the special quarters too... the girls at Tim's looked after me!!! result of being a good tipper, I guess.

hiro-acid 11-08-2004 03:59 PM

Ugh! Forget Tim's, I can't stand their frozen donuts!

For those of you who missed it, about six months ago Tim Horton's announced that as a cost saving measure they would be "near-cooking" their donuts in Ontario, freezing them, and then essentially microwaving them in-store..

I haven't been back since. My morning start's at Robin's now.. but, uh, to answer the question, lotsa sugar, and a little cream..

aberkok 11-08-2004 04:37 PM

Toasted multi-grain with 1/4 butter. "Steeped" tea if I feel financially secure that morning.

Keeper 11-08-2004 06:25 PM

Hiro, Tim's did that all over Canada... they claim that you can get your doughnuts hot and "fresh" (right!) and it only takes a minute and a half... thing is, the employees won't do it!! They are Terrible too!!

Scorpi_elle 11-08-2004 06:54 PM

Extra Large triple triple, the only way to start the day..LOL
;-)

Dashmonkey 11-14-2004 07:30 PM

Large 50/50 with blueberry fritter, and a M&M cookie...can't start the day without the cookie

Lucifer 11-17-2004 07:58 AM

We live in a town of 18,000 people, 5 (count 'em) Tims. Make mine, Large double cream with a whole wheat and honey bagel toasted with butter.
