Damn the sixties, ya'll are old bastards teehee, I'm only 32, although at least you guys got to see the 60's, all I get to do is read about them, and I had to grow up in the *shudder* 80's, mind you the 90's are a blur, I think the 90's was my generations version of the 60's, at least for me and my group of friends from back then.

It all depends what Timmy's you get the coffee at, I find at most of them the coffee tastes burnt, I'm more a fan of Country Style coffee than Timmy's, Country Style is the shit.

I never had country style...and I don't like the coffee at DD's...though their donuts are yummy. Basically, I like the coffee I make and not much else...other than if I get an extra dry cappuccino or macchiato at Starbucks or other similar coffee houses, I usually like that too.

Not sure what you mean by "tastes burnt" ...I happen to like coffee made from beans that are roasted more than "usual" so that gives the coffee a more "roasted coffee bean flavor" as you might expect. Maybe some would call that burnt? But otherwise, I have a somewhat unusual taste for coffee so what I like most people apparently don't. I like it very strong flavored and when I make it that way it is very smooth and has a natural sweetness, I use no sugar and only a teeny bit of whole milk.

Not a big beer drinker, although I do like the odd European beer when I have the urge for a pint, Guinness is rather tasty, or a nice Grolsch. mmmm beer.

if it wasn't for weight gain, I'd drink beer 24/7

I felt like trying a good German pilsner beer this week so I got a case of Warsteiner Premium Verum. It's not nearly as carbonated as some beers, though not flat by any means. And the smallish carbonation bubbles contribute to its smoothness as you drink it. Quite dry, crisp and fresh, quite subtle taste of hops, no aftertaste. I find it very easy and tempting to drink more than a few every time I open one. Luckily, one bottle fell out of the case and broke in back of my SUV on the way home from the beer distributor, so I've been enjoying the aroma of beer as I drive around during the last week...ahhhhh

Fly,
I'm getting low enough on it to think about what to try next...any suggestions? I don't like it too fruity or too spicy so not a spiced pumpkin pie with cream beer this time.

That's what I usually do as well Fly, a mix and match 6 pack, I love the liquor store for selling singles, and for having those handy cardboard 6 pack holders. I'll be going there tomorrow night to get some, all this chat of beer has me wanting some nice Euro pints.

Is this the Bass you mean? http://www.bass.com/home/

That is the Bass, sj.

I like the mix and match idea. The local distributor has some cases aimed at sampling a four different six packs...I'll report my findings. Right now, my mouff was dry so I'm drinking another of those Warsteiners...it's too easy to drink faster than I usually drink beer. Here's to all you guys!
