I don't remember saying, but if those were mine I'd stuff them with coarsely chopped roasted chestnuts mixed with a few craisins. Sadly, that's not my pic so I'm just imagining how they would taste. A nice rice would go well with that.

another interpretation from my own experience:

parents gave us each (my cousin, my brother, and myself, so that's 3 of us) a couple bucks to go the the Saturday movie, instead we each purchased a pack of cigarettes and smoked the whole pack that afternoon since we couldn't take them home, we were only 11 y.o. On the plus side, that was the first and last time I smoked cigarettes in my life.
