I like Ottawa... believe me there are worse places to live. The canal in the summer and the winter rocks. The local music kicks ass. The arts scene is solid. CKCU is the best campus radio station in Canada (OK maybe one of the best). Gatineau is just across the river (minutes to countryside in all directions). The National Gallery is great. The Byward market has many good features. The Bytowne Cinema is, without questions, the best arthouse cinema in Canada (I know what I'm talking about).

Sure the place is populated with bureacrats but they go home and leave the city alone by 6 pm. Time to party.

Also, we found an olde picture of her when going through some Central crap, just before they renovated the school. She had the most insane hair in the world!! She looked so funny. We wanted to go on one of her 'I was a geek, but now I look great' type shows or whatever, blow that picture up, and show it to her. It would have been funny as hell.

Red Deer area born and raised, I spent three years in Calgary, half a year in Grand Prairie. Two months up in Fort Mac.

I've also spent a summer in Penticton and a couple in Whistler.

Prince George, B.C. raised. Did my University and started my career in Vancouver. Moved to Toronto about six years ago, but I just bought a new house in Barrie, so will be a Barrie'ite in about two months. :D
