I don't have a witty opening prologue or description for this thread at this exact moment because, well, it takes too much effort on my part trying to lure you, the potential audience member in, and never really knowing whether or not anyone other than myself enjoys the theme.

The real reason I'm not at a convenience to take the ten minutes or so to outline this synopsis of the thread's aim well and think it over, is that's all I've done over the past month. I truly wanted to give this a great description, right in the title, because that's the entire basis for this topic's sharing commons: lovely, mostly nude women, and their critter companions. I didn't want to entitle this "pussies & kitties" or anything like that, because that doesn't give the feel for what this will eventually become. And I also chose to feature it here instead of over at the EZ because I think there might be a tiny spark within a few of you folks to help me proliferate this endeavor.

This will not degrade into a gross, lewd, or obscene thread because I will not allow it to become something akin to bestiality and such. Think of it as an exhibition of quirky photography featuring women, in various stages of dress, along with their pet animals to give the picture some more 'pop'.

Oh, man. I am so off-put by the numerous post-edited NFSW-titles abound, especially when it occurs in my own threads. (I'd rather re-title it myself to make it known that occasional instances of titties may occur; and most of this board is inherently not safe for work, so when you read 'erotica' or 'personal accounts of the sensual kind' or even 'how often do you think about sex at work?' in the title of threads, it's pretty safe to assume that if it so happens that your co-workers or supervisor glances your activity in such discussions, it's not going to be a pretty scene.

Question for the next mod: instead of NSFW, what else can I supplant in the title to make this abundantly clear and aware to all that this thread has nude females and caged birds? It's like celery; NSFW in a title is my celery (in that I can't stomach seeing it because that is not what the thread is inherently about, and in the end, it's a hollow identifier).

Alright, time to don my alternator-perfectionist cap back on and provide helpful hints here for any future contributors:


foundation to picture portrayals and uploading, an addendum:
First of all, unless you trust the website resource in which you are pulling these images from, I truly would discourage and even vehemently protest against any member hotlinking images from just the first 'searched-found' image you happened upon; what happens is that when a web admin finds out that random people are siphoning off their bandwidth, they are very seldom pleased to allow it to continue draining dollars from their website's upkeep and maintenance. So, what they usually do first when they find this out is that they disallow privileges to the image, and then the previously 'fine' image becomes broken, red-X'd, or worse, a huge advertising banner for the originating site featuring a monkey, or a penguin, or an eyeless man, telling you to "F-off!". I don't want that.

Thus, I strongly encourage you fine folks to sign up for a free image hosting website.
Though, I will say, unless it contains no nudity at all, even suggestively-so is off-limits, I should kindly remind you now, at this early stage, that the images or links from the specific websites of PHOTOBUCKET and IMAGESHACK should not ever be contributed here.

Instead, other easy alternatives to those unmentionables above that DO allow artistic nudity are sites such as flickr, (but make sure the appropriate 'nudity filter' is selected in your settings) imagesocket, (it's as easy as photobucket, with nudity, but hotlinked images must be below 150 kb or so) and tumblr (really, simply, the best solution, I've found).


Alternatively, you can also upload via the TFP's attachment feature, (though all files must be below 100kb to upload) as both Fremen and kramus have displayed above, but here's something you may not have known:

see that that little icon there in your advanced text editor box; it's a paper clip!
(I always wondered what it did, and I found out about 6 months ago, but it is the forum attachment feature here)

click it once to bring up the attachment uploader pop-up window, and then you can proceed as you normally would; but what I had to find out first-hand, and would almost insist upon in the future, is, well... click the paper clip button once more after you have uploaded your file(s), and it will no longer instantly open up the new pop-up uploader window, but instead, show you via a drop-down menu, all of your files uploaded for this one unsubmitted post.
it will display the original filename of your image, but go ahead and click 'em, and you'll notice that inside your text box, a new tag looking similar to this, [ATTTACH] will appear. That's your uploaded image!, and you can freely display it anywhere in your post (top, bottom, in-between paragraphs, wherever) without having that cumbersome static outline box that stretches the thread over to the right for overly-large or multiple images.
This is the solution so that all images will display vertically and correctly. Ah! :thumbsup:

I hadn't immediately recalled the the story to which to you alluded to, (and utilized as a theme for your post above) but because of your post, BadNick, you made my mind recall another mythos from the Greek anthology: the story of Europa.

The mythographers tell that Zeus was enamored of Europa and decided to seduce or ravish her, the two being near-equivalent in Greek myth. He transformed himself into a tame white bull and mixed in with her father's herds. While Europa and her female attendants were gathering flowers, she saw the bull, caressed his flanks, and eventually got onto his back. Zeus took that opportunity and ran to the sea and swam, with her on his back, to the island of Crete. He then revealed his true identity, and Europa became the first queen of Crete.

Yeah, I understand your contention. But as to point out the "mythical creatures", dragons and triceratops used to be considering living animals, and while I try to stay true to my original premise of, at least, featuring a beauteous woman topless, I also do realize that not everyone will be able to encounter a nude woman hugging her pet monkey; (pictured below) so I try to lead by example. And, as I initially stated somewhere in my OP or following shortly thereafter, I'd rather those who contribute find and feature only "live" animals, (at the time of the photograph's shot) as opposed to some random naked stranger posing alongside Smokey the Bear, or Donkey Kong. But, I do think creative-licensing is there for those who are willing to exploit it, so I do appreciate the "interestingness" factor attributed to those sort of off-kilter pictures, but I'd not like to make them commonplace here.


And to further address, I did find your post very chuckle-worthy, Daniel_, and well worth the humorous effect, but for any future features, I'd rather not re-address the difference between technological automatons, and biological members of the animal kingdom. For that, we (meaning me, overcoming my procrastinator's anxiety, and then further finding at least five more examples thereof) may be soon in need of a new topic:

yes, we (as a whole of the audience participation here) can use any "image" they feel encompasses the spirit of this theme (whether it be photographic, sketches, watercolors, CGI-based, and/or anything corporeal-resembling, such as a photogragh of a tangible erotic sculpture somewhere in France, for example)

I am just outlining what I'd prefer this endeavor to morph into, and trying my hardest not to give too many contradictory examples as to what is okay and not okay (any insertions) to post.

Again, an animal and a woman (preferably nude, though now not limited to seeing her naughty bits) is all that is needed in a single image to be contributed here. Live animals trump those that "stuffed" or are basically silly fixtures, but it's up to the individual to decide if they would like to mention it here.
Creativity is a bonus, but that depends on who exactly is endeared by your particular post at that particular time.

where I discovered, Jetee, that the picture of the woman slapping the goose is actually Ursula Andress, lol

so you are right. I've also discovered that the photo image is from her Playboy June 1965 pictorial, which was "at 12 pages, Ursula's spread was the most extensive pictorial Playboy had devoted to one women to date."

I myself, stumbed upon another example of a woman with an inanimate giraffe, (they're envious, I guess, that they can't ride a real one) this time at the mall; and what's more, it's actually Olivia Munn, riding one of those slot attractions you usually find outside a Walmart/K-Mart deal, and posted via her Twitter account (or so the source claims).
