The anti-santa: Krampus
as depicted and realized as if he were ... no, in fact, what he may actually look like.

You always find the best bunny + santa arrangements, Nick-o.
That's a really cool skill. I can only find one or the other, but I go for the obscure, which helps bring in the intrigue. kaoru yumi (?) Ah! she exists!

You continue to amaze, BadNick.
With as many photographic sources as I've come to accumulate (dozens upon dozens) you still make better use of Google (I'm assuming) than I do with 50 other resources. I need more Santa hat portrayals; they're a bit more rare than finding any number of weird abstract bunny ears, I've noticed. Quote:

Thanks for re-contributing, BadNick.
I let the thread go dormant for a while, since we were "out of season", but I guess since we have now turned over into the other half of the calendar when the "festivities" coalesce, the activity and interest into this topic should rise. Here's my offer: Photography by Andrew Hasson

Very fine findings you have brought here, BadNick.
(are you just searching for "bunny + santa" in Google's image search, or GIS?) I'll be taking the time, indeed, next off, and whence I return, to see if I can locate the artist or history or folktales attributed to your above shares. I might get lucky, and actually uncover as to why Santa likes to ride Bunnies (I have a feeling it has to do with psychotropic mushrooms, but we'll see).

I could find no history that links together Father Christmas and ride-able rabbits, or what one might term as "snow hares".
Here's a random piece I found instead: Rabbit and Santa
