Yep, only airport in Florida I ever personally landed a plane at. We'd been in Key West (my friend landed there) as we readied to depart we noticed fuel was about twice what we were used to paying. Another pilot mentioned Marathon had much cheaper gas so 12-15 min later were fueling up on Marathon's cheap (not really, but better then KW) gas.

Ok Phil, you're on deck for departure. Cleared on runway 7 if I recall. You'll have to check comm settings, probably something like 124.5. Once in the air I'm sure you can reach Miami on 133.5, you'll want stay out of the way of other traffic as you take us to our next destination.

Tul,
My next guess was going to be the historic bat tower on Sugarloaf Key built in 1929. This was not for Batman & Robin. It was an effort to keep bats in the area to control mosquitos and minimize malaria problems
