not mid-atlantic...I'm a lot closer to shore
^^ ok, bad attempt at humor. I'm not in one of the mid-atlantic states. |
...i thought you were serious (yes, i'm gullible but i'm starting to "get you")...good thing you added that "disclaimer"
...new england? |
Are there bridges that connect the island to the mainland?
|
yes new england
no bridges to mainland ps: after you find the island, I would like you to find the location. This location has some infamous historical significance. |
....Martha's Vineyard?
|
yes...now can you find the location where I am?
|
...Aquinnauh Lighthouse and Cliffs? (i'm guessing as it's steeped in history)
|
I'm venturing the guess of ghosthouses, and Rhode Island to arrive at:
Block Island - The Palatine Light |
Not Aquinnauh Lighthouse and Cliffs...aka Gay Head Light. Now that I'm here again it reminds me of all the summers I spent on Martha's Vineyard in a cool little "camp" on Lake Tashmoo. I can go back again...maybe this summer.
Jet, as mentioned above I'm on Martha's Vineyard, not Block Island R.I. Here's another clue: to get to where I am, I have to take a another ferry. |

unc swoops in after all the grunt work is done and takes the win!
GO phil, you're up. |
hey nick, thought of a joke for you while i was on the road this past weekend...
http://www.tfproject.org/tfp/tilted-...has-knack.html meanwhile, i'll get back later after i scout out a few locations... |
Thanks for thinking of me, phil. It was a great story that I was intensely relating to the whole time except for the tragic ending :(
PS: since we're on a Kennedy theme, I just saw this so here's proof that there can be nonsense in the news: Kennedy: Claim in new book is 'absolute nonsense' | Comcast.net |
