uncle phil 05-12-2009 10:22 AM

BadNick 05-12-2009 12:46 PM

damn, where you hiding, unc?

How about Tex-ass?

uncle phil 05-12-2009 01:10 PM

i would be in the lone star long-neck state...

BadNick 05-12-2009 07:44 PM

are you south of Dallas/Ft. Worth? ...I'm hunting a "long neck" connection this moment.

uncle phil 05-13-2009 02:12 AM

nope...

BadNick 05-13-2009 06:25 AM

Nothing yet, I'm still searching...I keep coming up with great "long neck" related ideas, and very great ideas they are...but then it turns out they are south of Dallas/Ft. Worth :(

For example, I thought you might be feeding long neck beers to Clay Henry III, the famous beer drinking goat of Lajitas Texas Clay Henry III, Beer-Drinking Goat, Lajitas, Texas but he's too far south
http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g2...%20I/TXLAJ.jpg

Then I thought you might have been inspired by that recent great thread "Omg!! My Dad Is A Llama" so I checked out Qualtity Central Texas Alpacas from Long Neck Acres and found out that they sell and service alpacas
Long Neck Acres is located in the beautiful Central Texas Hill Country and is home to over 200 Quality Alpacas. We specialize in providing you with superior Alpacas at reasonable prices.

Whether you elect to purchase your Alpacas and bring them home to your own ranch, or invest in Alpacas and leave them in our care, we promise to treat your Alpacas as if they were our own.

Then thinking you might be a longstem rose, I looked up where The Yellow Rose of Texas came from, but she was from the south end near Mexico.

So far I have no clue but I'll keep searching.

uncle phil 05-13-2009 06:35 AM

the long neck reference was just to the container of the beer, not the whereabouts of said beer...

sorry to side-track you...

it is safe to say that an awful lot of beer is drunk here, especially around the 15th and the eom...

BadNick 05-13-2009 06:38 AM

I think this might be where Tul jumps in an guesses where you are after I did all the grunt work? ...I'm off to research your latest clues.

BadNick 05-13-2009 09:57 AM

OOPS, I just realized St. Paddy's Day is on the 17th not 15th :(

The "15th" clue made me think you might be in Dublin TX but that's south of DFW, so then I thought maybe Arlington TX at North Texas Deaf Senior Citizens’ St. Patrick’s Day Party | Deaf Network of Texas ...but I'm not going for the deaf connection yet...so are you in Shamrock TX at the Shamrock St. Patrick's Day Festival? Shamrock Texas St. Patrick's Day Festival

uncle phil 05-13-2009 10:02 AM

nope...

BadNick 05-13-2009 10:32 AM

Shell 05-13-2009 03:10 PM

Jetée 05-13-2009 03:13 PM

Shell 05-14-2009 11:21 AM

Good job Nick :thumbsup::thumbsup:

BadNick 05-14-2009 07:38 PM

Thanks, Shell. Hey, how come you only have that black beard on one side of your face?...not that there's anything wrong with half-a-beard!

OK folks, where in the world am I this time?

Shell 05-14-2009 08:48 PM

Eat your heart out, BadNick, you know you wish you had one just like it.

I have never grown a beard in my whole life ...yet...other than a few days of no shaving. But if I ever decide to try pirating, I think I would do it. Btw, the eyes of your avatar lady are eerily beautiful and follow me around everywhere I go :oogle: ps: is that Grace Kelly? or who?

Yes NA..so obviously also yes to unc's WH...except for those Alaskan islands that Tully refuses to admit are in the eastern hemisphere and I'm not at those islands this time.

Shell 05-15-2009 08:54 AM

My avatar is the legendary Audrey Hepburn who was just as beautiful and graceful on the inside. When giving beauty tips she said, "For beautiful eyes, look for the good in others."

Are you on an island such as Catalina?

BadNick 05-15-2009 11:32 AM

I'm not sure if it's "such as Catalina", but I am on an island.....or now in this thread should I say eyeland? Damn, I can't believe I confused Audrey for Grace!

Shell 05-15-2009 01:29 PM

...if you were on Catalina Island you would know it so it can't be that

...is your island close enough to the mainland that it's accessible by a bridge or ferry?

BadNick 05-15-2009 03:51 PM

Actually I have been on Catalina and it is gorgeous, so I'm sure I'm not there now.

Yes where I am is accessible by bridge or ferry and you can see the mainland even without binoculars.

Shell 05-15-2009 05:09 PM

(oops, sorry, i think I misunderstood what you meant about Catalina :o )

...so, east coast?

BadNick 05-15-2009 06:38 PM

you're getting hotter ...yes

Shell 05-16-2009 04:07 AM

...mid-atlantic?
