One more venison question

So my room mates dad gave him quite a bit of deer meat. I havn't done too much cooking with it in the past. We do have an entire frozen shoulder and quite honestly I have no idea what the best way to prep/cook it would be.

slice it thin and stir fry is the easiest -- lots of garlic and ginger and a really hot pan, if you cook it fast it loses less moisture.

you could also do it as a roast but you'll need to be REALLY careful about letting it dry out.

I inject mine with a flavoring agent. You can find this at most grocery stores. Personally, even thou I hunt the shit out of deer, I don't really care for it all that much.

You got a smoker? THAT'S the shizz.

A little Country Bob's steak sauce and a smoker for about 5 hours makes that a tasty little dish.

PS - Put some Guiness in the water pan.

roast it, but don't overcook it...invite a bunch of people over and enjoy.
