if you are going hardcore low-carb, pork rhines are good for a snack... if you can bear the taste, they have absolutely no carbs, they are pure fat, i guess. one of my friends went low-carb and ate pork rhines all day and lost a lot of weight. well not all day, but you get what i mean.
another good thing is to buy a bunch of raw chicken wings at the store and season them up with whatever you like... cayenne pepper or stuff like that if you like 'em spicy. then you just put 'em on a baking pan lined with aluminum foil and bake them in the oven. Then you can save them and put them in the fridge. then if you get a craving for some food, you can pull one out and eat it. and they last for days. - just a simple lil' think to make. |

Hot Teriyaki Wings
Sauce (makes a lot - keep it in the fridge) 1 bottle cheap as hell soy sauce 1 cup Splenda 2 Tbs Onion powder 1 Tbs Garlic powder add tabasco to taste Heat until boiling. Add 1 tbs cornstarch or a non-carb thickener. Reduce until it will coat a spoon. Take off heat and cool. It should get nice and thick as it cools. Take wings and deep fry without battering. When golden brown, dry on paper towels, then place in tupperware container. Pour sauce over wings, seal container, and shake until coated.
