Making Tahini
Yesterday I baked some sesame seeds, threw them in a food processor with some olive oil, and made tahini. I think I didn't purée it enough, it ended up a bit grainy. I'll include pictures in a bit.
Has anyone made their own Tahini from scratch? Do you have any tips to share?

i know my mum and aunts used to make it from scratch.
in later years, mum just buys it direct from the lebanese grocery store not far away from her house. i can ask my mother for the recipe if you like?

I'd love try making it if you were able to get the recipe!

I made it once years ago, but I recall pulverizing them when dry. Maybe try a coffee grinder, if you have one, and then add sesame oil instead of olive oil.
I found this: Tahini (Sesame Seed Paste) Recipe
