One of the great things about living in South East Asia is the fruit. It is abundant and relatively cheap.
Pinapples are always sweet and juicy. In Canada, it was always a crap shoot and you would frequently end up with woody pineapples. I can go to a fruit stall here and get fresh juice (made in front of me) for about half, or less, than what I'd pay in Toronto. The one thing that is more expensive is berries. These are mostly shipped in from Australia or the US. My favourites in no order: Pineapples, Mangoes (fresh and dried -- and especially with sticky rice and coconut milk!), Strawberries, Raspberries, Blueberries, Apples (a good crisp MacIntosh I cannot get here but a firm Fuji or a tart Granny Smith I can), Oranges (another plus of living here is that the oranges are always sweet, unlike back home), Longan, Rambutan and Lychee (oh. my. god.), Bananas, grapes (but only when they are crisp... mushy grapes suck). I like mangosteens and when they are in season can get them cheap. I just don't love Mangosteens as much as the others above.

I think my favorite fruits are mangos, Fuji Apples specifically, watermellons, and a perfect nectarine.

mango, cherries, raspberries, cantaloupe and apricots. Tangerines occasionally, but they can't be dry.
Avocado - though I can't see it in my mind as fruit, I only like it savoury.

Cold watermelon, far and away my favorite. I love citrus fruits, grapefruit is my favorite. The only apple I get excited about is honey crisp. Also plums and nectarines.
