Survivor 12: Panama

Tagline for this season

This time the 16 castaways will begin their competition as 4 tribes Older Men, Older Women, Younger Men, Younger women. At least one survivor each week will be banished to a seperate island miles away from camp.

Premiers Feb 2nd

I must say that last season was one of the best, IMO in awhile I wonder how having 4 tribes instead of 2 is going to contribute to the "shock and awe" factor this time.

(oh and the first person to waste time making a response along the lines of "Oh god people still watch this?" or "I cant stand this show, I'd rather have my pubic hair plucked out by tweezers" gets a personal smack from me!!!)

is everybody ready!!!

Daoust 01-10-2006 04:12 AM

Shani, I will always be pumped about a new season of Survivor. You can count on it. Im totally stoked.

Edit. I can read, honest!

ShaniFaye 01-10-2006 04:16 AM

lol Im pretty sure the 4th line of my post says Premiers Feb 2nd :icare:

hehehe if it doesnt then Im seeing things and have had too much coffee this morning

The problem with that is, that someone who enjoys having their pubic hair plucked out with tweezers, would probably also enjoy a good smackin' around. ;) :D

I wonder if they're going to get ol' David Lee Roth to do the theme song? I mean he's already got the outfit.

Hmmmm, an apparent lack of young hotties this season... Or am I the only one who sees it that way?

Derwood 01-11-2006 05:43 AM

bring
it
on

Fremen 01-11-2006 12:09 PM

Hmmm, 5 people 40 and older. Should be interesting.

i also remain a big survivor fan, but what if i want to get smacked?

Misty and Danielle seem to be pretty easy on the eyes. Misty was Miss Teen Texas..wonder if she'll carry that kinda of beauty queen persona onto the show.

Catdaddy33 01-12-2006 05:36 AM

It should be interesting, the main reason I like Survivor so much is watching the different personalities interact, so splitting them into 4 tribes takes away from that. Well, until they start merging them together.

The exile part is a interesting idea, did they say how they will get sent there?

DarthDooku 01-12-2006 06:12 AM

Four tribes of four probably wont last long. Im guessing they will merge pretty quickly. Should be interesting for alliances. I'd have to agree that there seems to be a lack of young hotties, but you can never tell until you see them on the island. The old asian looking dude looks interesting.

heywatsup 01-12-2006 08:00 AM

awesome, thanks for the info, i enjoyed last season of this :D

BigBen 01-12-2006 08:11 AM

I always thought that the show would be great if it started with 5 days of solitude.

The 16 castaways started off in 16 different locations, and had to truly survive alone for about a week. Long enough to fuck them over if they didn't know how to gather their own food, water, shelter and start a fire.

Then you smash them together, and everyone can look at each other and say "This person must be tough, they lasted out here just like me for a week." It avoids the Free-Rider problem that continuously plagues Survivor.

I absolutely hate the "Grey Man", that person that just sits around and does nothing for the first 10 episodes.

Daoust 01-12-2006 09:27 AM

That's a fantastic idea Ben. I like it.

But I would guess that, given the long drawn out selection process, most of the contestants already would assume the others around them must have something special about them, seeing as they were picked out of thousands of others...

kutulu 01-12-2006 12:40 PM

A few of the girls look pretty nice although they are missing the big boobed skinny hottie. She will be sorely missed. Hopefully a few of them will have nice butts and wear tight clothes.

That would make for horrible TV, and dangerous too. Besides, if you think it's about survival then I think you are missing the point. It's about human interaction.

BigBen 01-12-2006 12:55 PM

I don't mean SHOW the 5 days leading up to it... just highlights. That would be great TV! See how each of the contestants makes out on their own.

Dangerous? No, there would be camera crews for safety, just like there is now.

And the Survivor show would continue as normal, giving your human interaction. I don't mean make it the pivotal part of the show, but I want to see the whiney free-riders pack it in before it begins...

Why would that make bad TV? You ever see Survivorman? Multiply that by 16, show only the highlights (firemaking, shelterbuilding, foraging) as kind of a "Right of Passage" to get into the game.

Get it?

fresnelly 01-12-2006 01:06 PM

Ben, your idea is fantastic. That would definately shake things up a bit and help restore the notion of how tough this is supposed to be.

In addition to the camera crews, I imagine they have a team of medics and lawers trawling the beaches too. Oh, and an armpit shaving crew for the ladies.

Well if the tribes are just 4 members each to start, it's a lot tougher to fly under te radar

dman2 01-22-2006 08:35 AM

Survivor has always been the highlight of my Thursday night, just before the Apprentice. Last season was one of the best in a while. I can't wait to see the changes this season and how they react.

ShaniFaye 02-02-2006 04:03 AM

*bump bump*

tonites the nite!!!!

Daoust 02-02-2006 04:05 AM

Thanks for the reminder... I'm interested in seeing how it all goes down, what with the four tribes and all...

I'll be glued to my boob. tube tonight!!

ShaniFaye 02-02-2006 04:07 AM

Jeff was on the radio this morning....

he says there is a hidden immunity idol on exile island and the person that finds it doesnt have to reveal it until after the tribal council vote if they need it.

Daval 02-02-2006 10:20 AM

I can't wait :)

Fremen 02-02-2006 03:38 PM

Hope this is the best season yet.

Daoust 02-02-2006 06:34 PM

Well I just saw the first episode... looks interesting...it has it's flaws and good points... I haven't got an opinion yet as to whether I like the four tribes or not...

I'll wait till more people have seen tonight's episode to post anything else.

mrklixx 02-02-2006 09:02 PM

And the march of the dumbasses continues. Vote out the only person in your tribe with any survival skills.

ShaniFaye 02-03-2006 04:53 AM

Considering she was supposed to be on the last one but had to back out because her son was killed 4 weeks before she was supposed to leave (they gave her a guaranteed spot on this one if she wanted it) I was really hoping she'd last awhile...dumb dumb dumb people They keep a person thats scared of everything, and another person that didnt help with shit in the immunity challenge and toss her out. STUPID

All in all though I liked the first episode and Jeff is looking as hot as ever

BigBen 02-03-2006 07:32 AM

Where do I begin?

1. I don't care if you just lost your entire family and recently diagnosed with n-stage cancer. DO NOT BE A LONER ON SURVIVOR. Sheesh. Like sending an ahmish guy to Circuit City.

2. I am liking the 4 tribes thing so far, but you have to admit, it is weird having the politics and game-playing of the "Final Four" voting strategy so soon. These guys don't know each other, and they are forced to look at each other after the immunity loss. Hmmmm. Anyone want to go and get water?

3. Astronaut? Did I hear that correctly? Where have you been since your space trip? Living under a rock in a hole? THAT IS THE WHITEST MAN TO EVER BE FILMED WITH HIS SHIRT OFF. I feel sorry for him, because I think he is going to get a 2nd degree burn and turn bright red in a few episodes.

4. I like the "Exile Island" concept. I really do. I hope that they don't fuck with it too much, like put a whole bunch of food and beer on that island. Scratch that. I think that would be cool.

5. Combo physical trials are the dominating factor so soon in the game. Why? I want to know how smart my fellow tribe-mates are... I can SEE how strong they are (as a general rule, I know, I know); Why not some Jeopardy survival skill test?

Ben's Episode 1: Fire Making, Shelter-making, food preperation: All contestants are given the requisites to make fire, shelter and food. All fires, shelters and food are presented to the other competitors. There is then a contest to see who is selected to each tribe. I haven't thought about that part yet.

Overall, it looks like a good crew. The girls are eye candy (again. I used to hate that, but I have learned to tolerate them), the boys are buff (did you see that beefcake just about cry when he found out there would be no girls near him? )

That was mind boggling. Hope that tribe goes home over the next 3 weeks, what a bunch of nimrods.

Mister Coaster 02-03-2006 07:48 AM

Yes, Tina has survival skills, but she was a real bad combination.

Name 3 categories of people with a target on their heads... 1. Leaders 2. Loners 3. Excentrics Tina was all three rolled into one.

There was NO WAY she would have made it far in this game unless she was able to dial herself down a couple of notches, that's why she was voted out. It wasn't stupidity on the other tribe members part. I saw that vote coming as soon as they lost the challenge.

I agree, though apparently one thing that the camera crew DOES give the contestants is sun block.

Between the idiot "older women" and the nic-fitting guy, this is already interesting. No surprise that the Old Guys have their shit together better than anyone else.

I have a good feeling about this season.

sapiens 02-03-2006 11:59 AM

Sure, Tina played her short game very stupidly: Don't be strange, a loner, and a leader. However, I can't imagine why the others would want to kick her off over an outrageously out of shape woman with no evident skills WHO"S AFRAID OF LEAVES!!!

pre-indoctrinated social stigma to not vote off the black person first?

Actually, they almost always seem to vote the minority or old person off first.

But in this case, it would have been highly justified. The woman is afraid of leaves.

I don't think that is a fair or accurate statement at all, especially if you are referring mainly to the black contestants.

In fact it breaks down like this:

Survivor 1

First Person voted off - Sonja - White Woman - 63

Black contestants

Ramona - Voted off 4th
Gervase - Voted off 10th

Survivor 2

First Person voted off - Deb - White woman - 45

Black contestants

Alicia - Voted off 8th
Nick - Voted off 10th

Survivor 3

First Person voted off - Diane -White woman - 42

Black contestants

Clarence - Voted off 7th

Survivor 4

First Person voted off - Peter - White man - 45

Black contestants

Sean - Voted off 12th
Vecepia - Not Voted off - won 1,000,000

Survivor 5

First Person voted off - John - Whit man - 40

Black Contestants

Ghandia - Voted off 4th
Ted - Voted off 12th

Survivor 6

First Person voted off - Ryan - White man - 23

Black Contestant

Joanna - Voted out 4th

Survivor 7

First Person voted off - Nicole - White woman - 24

Black Contestants

Osten - Quits 7th
Tijuana - Voted out 11th

Survivor 8 (allstar)

First Person voted off Tina - White woman - 42

Black Contestant

Alicia - Voted off 12th

Survivor 9

First Person voted off - Brook - White man - 27

Black Contestant

Rory - Voted out 8th

Survivor 10

First Person voted off - Jolanda - Black woman -39

Black Contestants

Jolanda - Voted out 1st
Ibrehem - Voted out 7th

Survivor 11

First Person voted off - Jim - White man - 63

No Black Contestans

So while it is true that a majority (63%) of the 1st person voted off are over 40 (although that is hardly "old"), only one black contestant was voted out first, and a good portion of them going at least halfway or better.

highthief 02-04-2006 04:02 AM

Hey, I said the old person or the minority gets the axe first - and you just proved it (there are also Asian and Latinos who are occasionally allowed to be on the show, BTW - minority does not mean black).

As someone pointed out, if you are marked as different in some way, you paint a target on yourself. That is most easily accomplished by simply being different to start with - ethnicity or age.

I'd be interested to see how Survivor would play out if it was 15 blacks and latinos and 1 white person!

Well since only one minority (whather it be black, red, green, or purple0 was voted off first, then that qualifier is moot. And what is "old"? I mean if someone is 16, then I guess 40 seems pretty old, but the way I see it, only two of the first people voted out were "old". A subjective statement of "old" is hardly fact.

P.S. Your initial response was to what derwood said, so apparently minority does mean black.

Um, no - I think I know what I mean when I say minority. In this particular instance, we have a black woman on the island who is afraid of leaves, but my comment is in general. Don't be so quick to read my mind.

And the age point is relative versus the average ages of people on survivor - most are in their 20s and 30s, with the exception of this season. Ergo, anyone over 40 is "old" in Survivor terms.

Derwood 02-09-2006 09:31 AM

so, do you guys think that Mr. Nic-Fit is going to quit tonight, or is that just too obvious? I'd say no, since that's all the commercials are about. Survivor producers aren't that open-handed about plot lines

Daoust 02-09-2006 10:51 AM

It's too early to be aptly able to predict who's going next. It's a crap shoot till about half way through...

I'll be watching either way...

Fremen 02-09-2006 03:27 PM

My bet's on one of the younger women.

Derwood 02-09-2006 04:56 PM

they merge to two tribes tonight (per the official website) but jeff throws in a twist. i love twists

Daoust 02-10-2006 05:12 AM

Someone will have to catch me up on the finer points of last nights episode. I slept through most of it. I saw that Smokey wanted out, but he didn't get voted off. I also saw that Melinda did get the boot. The other stuff I missed out on. Did I miss anything of importance?

ShaniFaye 02-10-2006 05:49 AM

I already want Shane gone, I cant take anymore of his whining

Nope, that pretty much sums it up overall, pretty boring episode in general.

Shane pissed and moaned. They merged the 4 into 2 by a schoolyard picking bit. There wound up being one person not picked (Bruce, older asian guy) recieved immunity, but was sent to exile island. Reward was fishing gear, including a spear, which one of the younger chicks took and immediately shot into deep water and lost forever. Shane pissed and moaned, but was happy that he was with some younger people, and formed an alliance with 3 of the 'younguns' Shane pissed an moaned that his tribe was hurting, and they lost the immunity challenge. Shane pissed an moaned and asked to be voted off. Shane changed his mind. Shane pissed and moaned and told the two older chicks in their tribe that one would be voted off. Shane pissed and moaned some more. Melinda was voted off. And poor Bruce was forced to join Shane's tribe.

Next weeks preview: Shane pissing and moaning.

Mister Coaster 02-10-2006 07:11 AM

Yeah, Shane needs to go. Even with that alliance, he's so ramped on the nicotine detox that his head is spinning and he just blurts out any single thought he has, for good or for bad. That's going to ruffle feathers and get him voted off.

Melinda should have pushed buttons at tribal by calling out Shane and telling Jeff that he wanted to quit. She might have been able to get him all riled up and lget him to lay his torch down.

Derwood 02-10-2006 10:13 AM

I hate when people get picked for the show (ahead of 1000's of other applicants) and then complain that it was a mistake to be on the show. We have TWO such people this year.

Daval 02-13-2006 06:18 AM

I agree, Melinda and Cerie should have launched war upon Shane at Tribal Council. Called him out and gotten him to freak out.

Daval 02-17-2006 05:48 AM

Well I must say that was one of the most entertaining immunity challenges in recent memory.

I think Ruth-Marie's final run for the finish line was one of the funniest runs I've ever seen, when Bobby casually walked up to her as she was running at top speed and grabbed her and calmly walked over to his mat I was laughing my arse off.

I was dissapointed that Misty left, woulda preferred to see Ruth go.

ShaniFaye 02-17-2006 05:54 AM

can I just say again, SHANE NEEDS TO GO....good lord he acts like an old biddy

In a way I dont think its fair that a person can spend time on exile island more than once, I know it gives them more time to look for the idol, but damn, there will be people that dont have to ever stay there if they are allowed to send someone back more than once.

Daval 02-17-2006 06:26 AM

Yeah, I forgot to cover those parts. Bruce is a pretty cool guy, maybe a little too vocal in camp (telling people how great he is). and I think someone is gonna get serious gutrot from his 3 tshirt filter. That aint gonna do shit for bacteria.

Shane is really really annoying and I'd love to see him leave. But again, he makes for entertaining tv, cause we have someone to yell at and hate.

Excile island I agree would be nice if you couldnt go back to back

I agree. The immunity challenge was great. I think that the reward challenge was dull.

I've wanted Ruth Marie off since she voted off the lumberjack woman. It was very funny when Bobby carried her to his mat. I also thought Cerie did an impressive job in that challenge.

Shane's hilarious. I laughed out loud during that scene when he talked (yelled) about his thinking stool. His presence makes the show more entertaining. (That said, I wouldn't want to be stuck on an island with him).

Mister Coaster 02-17-2006 07:27 AM

I'm definately pulling for Bruce after spending back to back visits on exile island. So far nobody is puking their guts out from drinking the t-shirt filtered water, so maybe it's not that bad.

And yes, Bobby winning the challenge the way he did was priceless. He's definately the strongest player.

Derwood 02-17-2006 11:46 AM

with Misty gone, Sally "lost the spear in 4.7 seconds" is done

Derwood 02-23-2006 06:08 AM

bump for tonught's episode. My predictions:

if Orange lose, Sally is done.
if Purple loses, it's either Shane or the spacey hippie chick

ShaniFaye 02-23-2006 06:14 AM

gosh this is a hard tv nite.....American Idol results show, Olympics, and Survivor, three things I watch will I cant catch later in reruns....damn it

Locke7 02-23-2006 11:09 AM

Did we get the next clue for exile island when Bruce went back? I only remember seeing him say he can't do much searching because of the weather. I still thought we would get a clue.

Derwood 02-23-2006 01:50 PM

he probably got it, but we didn't see

ShaniFaye 02-24-2006 04:33 AM

Im not happy that Ruthie is gone....damn it

Daval 02-24-2006 05:30 AM

Really? Why? I far prefer Sally. I think she is a far better competitor. I just couldnt respect Ruthie anymore after that run in last weeks immunity challenge - although it was comedy gold.

Mister Coaster 02-24-2006 07:25 AM

Kind of a boring episode, although it looks like the one alliance is on shaky ground. Also looks like Terry is going at least to the final 4.

Theory: Would it be better for Terry to show the immunity idol early? I'm thinking that way nobody would even bother to try to vote him out because they'd all know he has it. Otherwise, if he gets enough votes to be out, then he will be forced to use it, then would be vulnerable the next week. I think it would be better to show it early.

Daval 02-24-2006 07:40 AM

If Terry showed it early on I would intentionally rig the vote to outcast him with the person I really want gone in second place (they then get booted). That would take that huge advantage away from him and put him on even ground with the rest of the team/alliance.

Mister Coaster 02-25-2006 10:30 AM

That would require some REALLY slick coordinating on the part of the other tribe members. Have enough people vote for Terry so he is forced to use the idol AND get enough people to have 2nd place be the person they really want off. All while not allowing Terry and this other person to team up and get someone else to be 2nd place in voting. Although it could be possible, it throws too many wildcards into that vote.

I do believe keeping the immunity idol a secret is the easiest and best way of handling it, but I can't help but think that showing it may potentially be better.

Derwood 02-26-2006 04:52 AM

Ruth Marie had the potential of being this season's Tina or Vecepia (ie nice, harmless, suddenly in the final 2 without earning it). I'm all about people winning who play hardest, so I didn't shed a tear when she got the boot.

No, because if he did that, they could all vote for him knowing that they would then do the real vote afterwards. At least, that's what they should do.

Locke7 02-28-2006 10:52 AM

I would never show it. Think about it, when the rest of the team wants you to go, and they all vote for you (if that happens), your single vote will be the actual person going home. I really like this season so far. Although I wish someone other than Terry got the immunity idol. I don't know why, but he is in a decent alliance already. He'll go a ways even without it. I bet he is top 4 now...

Daval 03-10-2006 05:09 AM

Felt kinda bad for the pasty astronaut going home but it was kinda cool that they were so forthright and honest about it and he accepted his fate like a man. He was the logical target. I am actually rooting for their team, at least untill Cirie, Aras and the Psycho dude leave, then i may switch teams again.

I'm glad that Sally got to stay, I quite like her and would like to see her stay for a long while.

Derwood 03-10-2006 05:37 AM

I have to say, I like Cerie. She was a big target early, but has played the game smart and let her tribe bicker around her. Assuming the merge happens next episode (in 3 weeks! :( ) I think she can get far. She certainly won't have a target on her back like Shane, Terry, or the other strong guys. Plus she gives great interviews on the show.

Although I do not disagree with anythign you've stated here, I think I just can't get past the 'I'm afraid of leaves' thing.

Derwood 03-10-2006 11:23 AM

ha, true, but she seems to have gotten over that pretty quickly.

Fremen 03-10-2006 07:27 PM

I must have missed the reason for the delay. Why won't the next episode be on for three weeks?

Derwood 03-11-2006 04:07 AM

NCAA tournament

Daval 03-11-2006 04:31 PM

stupid basketball :(

Fremen 03-11-2006 09:01 PM

Thanks, Derwood.
I agree, Daval. ;)

Mister Coaster 03-30-2006 08:45 AM

***Bump***

New episode tonight!

Derwood 03-30-2006 11:20 AM

Tonight:

- merger
- another "twist"
- someone gets medivaced off the island

Derwood 03-31-2006 05:17 AM

interesting. For the first time in forever someone from the majority tribe didn't flop at the merge. Of course now that Casaya is up by 2, they will start arguing amongst themselves and decide that they can afford to get rid of Shane, thus unraveling a can't-miss trip to the final six. Always happens.

Troublebot 03-31-2006 06:36 AM

I'm just sad we have to put up with Shane on the jury now.

Have we ever seen a tribe come into the merge so cocky? Even Richard wasn't so outwardly cocky that first season. Plus, he had the brains to back it up. These people are just idiots. I liked Bruce and Cirie up until they stayed with those idiots. What, are they playing for fifth and sixth place? If Shane, Aras or Courtney make it top two, I swear I'm quitting this show.

It's a shame Terry's going to have to use the immunity idol this early in the game.

Mister Coaster 03-31-2006 07:55 AM

As annoying as Shane is, at least he's honest. All other alliances try to make it look like its a big secret and that all members of the new merged tribe are all hunky-dorey. He just lets it all hang out and does it in the open.

Hateable? Yes!
Good player? Maybe.
Did he get voted off yet? No!

Daval 03-31-2006 07:59 AM

I was very dissapointed in Bruce as well, I didnt think that Cirie would flip.

I am kinda pissed off we were mislead about this whole major accident thing, they clearly showed someone being medivacced off of the island.

Daval, just because we didn't see it last night, doesn't mean it didn't happen. I think making up that kind of footage is way out of bounds for Burnett and co. We'll see.

Mister Coaster, I'm going to have to respectfully disagree with you on this one. For guys like Aras and Shane, they couch everything as "being honest," then, when you have a problem with it, they turn it back on you. "Hey, I was just being honest with you when I called you a fat loser and told you there was no way you could win. Can't you take honesty?" Those two, along with Courtney, work my very last nerve. I really think, if they'd been in different tribes, they'd have been long gone by now. Unfortunately, someone's going to look at one of these idiots as an excellent choice to take to the final two with them. Ugh.

Derwood 03-31-2006 08:51 AM

I think the medvac teaser was a "in the second half of the season" as opposed to specifically last night.

And I think Terry reveals he has the immunity idol for two reasons. One, it means they can't vote him out, and two, he can choose to give it to someone else if he wants. Thus, he's probably angling something like "You vote me out I'm using it, if I win immunity I'm giving it to Austin or Sally, but you won't know which, so what are you going to do about it?"

That's kinda what I thought about his showing the idol.. but that would only work once.... even if he gets immunity, gives the idol to whomever gets most votes, the next week, he is out of luck.. that is assuming the idol is a use once item.

Mister Coaster 04-01-2006 07:23 AM

I never said I liked Shane, I'm just saying that despite his many personality flaws, he is managing to get pretty far. I agree that he needs to go, but at the same time he's entertaining to watch because he's such a train wreck.

flstf 04-01-2006 09:05 AM

I guess I don't understand Terry's use or non-use of the immunity idol. With the tribes at 6 to 4, if he had given it to someone like Bruce last week in exchange for them voting Shane off and joining his tribe wouldn't 5 votes have done the trick, and wouldn't his tribe now have the majority?

Now they are at 6 to 3 and it will be more difficult to use it, I think. Unless he can continue to win immunity or make some kind of deal, he gets to use the idol once and then he's gone. Even if he can break up the other tribe he is going to be on the chopping block and his only chance may be to keep the idol and try to keep winning immunity.

Derwood 04-01-2006 11:26 AM

how this immunity idol works is still very unclear

Mister Coaster 04-01-2006 11:56 AM

The actual use of the idol is pretty straightforward. If the person with the idol has the majority of votes, they produce the idol and they are safe. Pretty cut and dry.

The question is what happens then? Does the person with the second most votes get voted off, or do they do another vote? The other sticky point is exactly HOW to make it work for you before it actually comes down to that. Reveal it or don't? Use it as a bargaining chip, or strike a deal? Perhaps give it away in exchange for a trip to the final 4? Decisions decisions.

Derwood 04-01-2006 12:23 PM

yes, the person withe second highest vote total is gone. Jeff mentioned that early on

Fremen 04-01-2006 03:12 PM

I knew it! Terry could've saved Nick and taken out Shane at the same time.

He would have to be sure that Nick was going and give the idol to Nick, or give immunity to Nick and hope they target him. He's smart by holding on to it, but it appears this week he reveals to some of them that he has it.

So since they merged no one gets sent to Exile Island?

Looks like 2 people go this week (as per mid-week ads)

spindles 04-05-2006 05:58 PM

A little side note from a part-time at best follower. The local TV network that shows this in Oz has usually showed this very close to the US release date (for obvious reasons). This year they were telecasting the Commonwealth games and pushed this back (I think they are showing week 3 this week). This season has seriously tanked with less than 1 million viewers last week. Talk about really stuffing up one of their flagship shows.

These shows only work if their is tension regarding who is voted off and without that the show becomes a lot less interesting.

Derwood 04-07-2006 04:28 AM

ok, so the immunity idol power play didn't work with danielle and bruce, but what happened with austin? didterry give it to sally instead?or didhe keep it because he promised it to danielle?

In either case, it looks like terri is going to have to run the table of immunity challenges to get to the final two (unless something unexpected happens, which it always does)

Daval 04-07-2006 05:14 AM

I am very, very dissapointed in Bruce. he could go much farther in this game if he would just see the light and join Austin, Terry and Sally. Thats two weeks now he has dissapointed.

I also think Danielle is stupid for not taking the idol. If she switched she would have basically guaranteed herself a long run in the game.

I would assumed that Terry gave the immunity idol to Sally (since there was talk of her being booted). But I guess we'll never know.

Those three are dominating the game yet getting kicked out by the losers of the other side, its depressing :(
